Wow I use to be a nail bitter too but I stopped bitting them for 3 years now but I just can’t get them to grow 😢 it’s keeps breaking as it’s so brittle. Can you please help?

I stopped bitting nail when I saw this video back in 2023 and I took pictures from day one starting October 1 and my nails grew up to be soo pretty..and after it broke the habit came back and again I'm rewatching this video hoping starting today I'm gonna grow my nails..☺️🤞🏻

Thanx for advice my teenage daughter is a chronic nail picker since she was 6 mainly on her toes :( it’s very hard as she has autism and anxiety.Mostly does it at night I might try this along with nail protector covers ;)

I’ve been picking my nails for as long as I can remember and it’s so extreme now that it doesn’t even really hurt anymore so I’ll subconsciously peel off half of my nail. Hopefully this video helps me stop.

Reason you WANT to go to a trained nail tech... First 45 seconds. FFS- Really? Don't clip living tissue! Guess what? That is whAt differentiates nail techs and FREAKING SURGEONS!!! I'm sorry, NOT SORRY, a nail tech AND biter. Bad advice is just badadvice. 😮 Respect for your nail bite journey, honest, big respect. Some of the helpful hints, actually a good few are just nit helpful for growing out a healthy nail. I'm ok with your intent but not with your factual message. DIY is fine by me 😊 It just needs to be done in a safe and infor😮manner, I just don't think you are pulling strong on either of those ropes. ❤ Respect for the try and medical health and safety fail though❤ Omg, why are you teaching people to DESTROY their natural nails??? And for £10 Alex, how should you NEVER file your nails to promote health and integrity? Umm... 1 million £ question, final answer.... Never saw file back and forth. The one thing I've figured out about picking the skin and cuticles is MOISTURE. As soon as it gets even slightly dry it's welcome to the jungle picking time. I keep a click up cuticle oil pen in my purse, in my car and next to my bed. This was such a big game changer.

Thanks for the inspiration.😊 *** One thing I want people to understand is that when you have NO nails you use your fingertips VERY differently than those with nails. Like, say picking up a PBJ, no nails, use the ends and pads of fingers, suddenly add extensions or long artificial nails to that without time to ease into HAVING nails, well, yeah, those beautiful new nails are going to snag straight into that sandwich. This was a big thing for me. The only successful time I've been bite free was through nightmarish ocd growing out of my natural nails so I had time to adjust. 😢 PS- You have beautiful penmanship 😊 PPS- Cuticle is living tissue, please don't clip, please❤❤❤. Soften, push back, dissolve even, but don't clip.❤

To take them off use nail polish remover to get those fake nails off
