Don't do as the fool is doing. Use two strong string on each end of metal clip and pull simultaneously in opposite direction. Slowly twist at the partition line of plastic housing holding each end firmly, remember it's plastic so have patience and eventually it will come apart. Use some strong glue to fix the drive nozzle inside of the housing then re-assemble the housing and clip.. you are good to go, alert only one drive will function by this method.

You are actually doing it wrong. You should pull the handle from both side only then it comes off easily. Equal pull from both side takes less effort. I did it without damaging the handle unlike you.
