Actually the Investigative Judgement is a salvation by perfect law keeping and repentance of sins. However reading it from Ellen's pen it is clearly IMPOSSIBLE to be saved via it as she elaborates quite clearly that forgotten/unconfessed sins will come into the scales deciding your fate for wheel or woe. It doesn't stop there, she goes onto describe Christ's perfect character that we need to attain through our own diligent effort inorder to stand without a mediator. All this is mut as John 3:16-18 says that those who accept Christ will not be condemned. Hebrews 8:12 shows no recording angel.

@@Adrian_Mason "Turn from salvation" that is works. This is your own openion. We are saved by grace through faith but we must know what that means. An individual can say they belive in Christ but still living in sin, do you really think that individual will be saved? Whether you like it or not the SDA little group from 1844 had the truth today the new SDA movement has stept away from it. I was raised Pentescostal but reading the bible and seeing only one day that was blessed and santified. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy, God Himself said it, weather you accept it or not. You have God given free will to do so but all will give an account in the judgement.

Yes discipleship is costly, I agree. But salvation is absolutely free (John 3:16). What John MacArthur wants is for people to work for their salvation continually until they reach heaven. He is 100% wrong. The Bible clearly says eternal life is a free gift (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9).

I don't know about the claims of this video, but if you think that about Mac, I have real concerns for you.

We are not to look to our fruit to determine whether we are saved. Otherwise it will cause constant doubt in our salvation because we will never know if we have done enough. The only way we are assured of our salvation is by resting in the promises of God in His word that we have been saved the moment we placed our faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31).

I'm quoting his exact words from his book, I'm not lying. Yes, he does preach a false gospel. He says one must "repent of sins, surrender to the Lordship of Christ, etc." to be saved. That's not salvation according to the Holy Bible, John MacArthur's gospel leads to hell. The Bible says salvation is a free gift and not of works (Romans 4:5, Ephesians 2:8-9). John MacArthur is confusing justification with sanctification, they must be kept separate and in the correct order.

First is salvation by grace through faith, then comes works (Ephesians 2:8-10), that is the divine order. You can't be saved by your works, it is only by faith in Christ that we are saved period! (John 3:16, Acts 16:31). Please go read Paul's Epistle to the Galatians, it was written to folks like you who believe you can be saved by law keeping (works).

The reason you are so confused is because you keep mixing into salvation sanctification. You must understand the two must not be mixed and kept separate in their proper order. Paul made it very clear we are either saved by grace or by works, the two must not be mixed in (Romans 11:6). If you are looking continually to your works, you're going to constantly be doubting your salvation. This is why we only have assurance of salvation when we know that we have believed in Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again, it's that simple. Jesus Christ did all the work for us. When you start to understand that, then you'll see God's grace. The problem is that John MacArthur preaches a false gospel of works that continually leads to one doubting their salvation. He's getting people away from Christ's finished work on the cross to getting people to work for their salvation. He sounds exactly like a Roman Catholic just under an evangelical name. I'm an ex Catholic and he sounds very similar to what they teach. Don't be fooled by MacArthur's false gospel. I recommend you first to read and study the Epistles to Galatians and I recommend you read a great book called "salvation" by Lewis Sperry Chafer.

The Bible says over and over that all a person has to do to receive the free gift of eternal life is faith in Christ (John 3:16, 3:36, Romans 4:5, Acts 16:31). I never undermined the Christian life as you claim. But they must be in their proper order. Salvation comes first by grace through faith in Christ, then works should follow (Ephesians 2:8-10). Works should never be looked upon for any assurance, faith in Christ is our assurance for salvation.

Eternal life is a free gift received by faith in Jesus (Acts 16:31), discipleship is costly. You're misunderstanding Jesus words on discipleship and using them as salvation passages, which they are not.

Yes the Christian life is very important after one has been saved, but keep it in that order and don't bring discipleship into God's plan of salvation. The issue in salvation is not turning a new leaf over, reforming your life, or turning from millions of sins, the issue is Jesus Christ and are you going to believe in Him to save you (Acts 16:31, John 3:16, Romans 1:16, 3:24-26, 4:5).

I believe that Jesus saved me. If you've known the sins I've done after salvation and now the regret, remorse and shame it has brought to my testimony, but much worse to His name, then victory in those habitual sins that have caused me great pain and waisted years of my life. To Him be the glory. My gratefulness is to be obedient to Him. And that my friend takes work.

Thank you. I'm not sure if it has the Psalm titles. I did hear recently that Holman publishers has removed the Psalm titles from their KJV bibles, which is why I no longer buy Bibles from them.

Amazing readability with this Bible. I bought several colors of the Holman Large Print Compact Reference Bible and all of them were missing the Psalm titles except for the Olive green one. The Olive Green one has the Psalm Titles and the exact same pagination as the Giant Print Personal Size and the Large Print Personal Size. Love the readability of the Large Print Compact Reference for its small size. I plant on rebinding the Olive Green one in a nice premium leather.

@@snowpuppy77 That's great to hear. I'm sure you can find Holman KJV bibles still with Psalm titles if you weed them out. One thing I do like about Holman KJV bibles is the large bold font they use which is comfortable to read. Lately I've been buying KJV bibles from Christian Art Publishers.

You have to understand the context of that verse. Jesus told the adulteress woman not to sin, in other words, not to commit adultery again. The works salvationists will twist that verse out of context to support their "go and sin no more" to be saved or teach their false doctrine of sinless perfection. I have a question for you, have you stopped sinning?

Your SDA church has lied to you. Nothing in the book of Revelation talks about the SDA movement. Chapters 1-3 is church age and chapters 4-19 is the tribulation, chapters 20-22 is about Jesus earthly millennial kingdom and then the great white throne judgment and new heavens and new earth. The church is raptured before the great tribulation, which is why you can't find the church after chapter 4

Salvation is open for individual Jews today but not as a nation. Rev. 14 "everlasting gospel" is God's plan of salvation before the creation of the world. Plan of Salvation centered on the gospel of Christ. Gospel of christ is everlasting that it will prevail into the world to come or new earth. An evangelical bible believing church, not a cult. I recommend a few tips to look for in a local church. 1) look for a non-denominational church (denominational churches will interpret scripture based on their denomination, which I don't recommend) 2) The church should teach verse by verse (expository) rather than topical only 3) They recognize a distinction between Israel and the church 4) They are grace focused and not legalistic

Yes I would agree that John MacArthur preaches a false gospel, but so did John R. Rice by adding "repentance from sins". Why should John R. Rice be left off the hook? I would not categorize John R. Rice as a Lordship salvationist, but him saying that one has to "turn from sins" or "repent of sins" and believe on Christ is another gospel according to Paul (Galatians 1:6-8). The one condition to receive everlasting life is faith, plus nothing (John 3:16, 3:36, Acts 16:31, Romans 1:16, 4:5, Ephesians 2:8-9).
