    Avoid fertilising during flowering? isn't that the time you add potassium and sulphur to enhance flowering and fruit growth?

    Regarding the cootamundra wattle it can become a pest as it can out compete endemic species in the area. In an urban yard it should be fine but if you are planting on a property or next to the bush please consider this before establishing in your yard.

    Hi, Ultimate backyard, I absolutely love gardening. I wish I had more time to attend to my garden. I have some rosebushes and they all have a scent. I love roses, I also have a vegetable garden elevated bed. I grow spinach, pumpkins, beans, radishes, tomatoes and herbs. I have a really good oregano plant that gives me 3 jars of oregano once I dry it. It's the best. Store bought doesn't compare. My fern collection love the shade and enjoy filtered light. I also have a vast collection of succulents which I love. Now I know why my lettuce gets shriveled up. Too much sunlight. Thank you.🌿🌹

Thank you for the information about which plants are ideal. I love ferns and succulents. Whenever I go for a walk I always find different succulents on the pathways. I have a green thumb and grow many cuttings successfully. I have many varieties of succulents.🌱🌱🌿🌿

    So my passion fruit vine is dropping some red and some green fruit - I am not picking it just letting the plant decide when ripe. They are large fruit. It gets consistent water - is there a problem or just the plant doing its thing? Last year it only dropped red fruit.

    Thank you so much. Due to neglect mine has sprawled out very widely with a few leggy, woody stems. Now at least I have an idea on how to rejuvenate it once it has finished flowering. Spring in another 3 weeks so I’ll sharpen my shears. Mine is the Tuscan Blue variety. I don’t have a dehydrator so would it be okay to dry extra leaves in an oven?

    • @susanlisson7066
      @susanlisson7066 2 месяца назад

      I’ve got the same problem but my best bet would be to find the central area of the bush that you want to keep, then cut the really leggy parts right back down or off until you see a roundish or oval shape developing from the central area, then prune that back by 1/4 as she mentioned. You need to make sure to only prune it into the greener wood because the harder, browner wood won’t regrow as quickly if at all. Best of luck.
