It's insane that for a video that made in 2024, made about the 2010s, feels like a webcam vlog from 2005 😭 But on that note, I get you man. Time feels weird looking back on the 2010s specifically. I think the combination of turning 16 and having COVID happen in 2020 has caused such a divide in how I conceive this decade and the last decade. Also insane how wide-spread some of the things you talked about were. I'm British so I don't remember things like Walgreens chocolate pianos - but I remember the TF out of the Talking Angela conspiracies Also I'm glad someone else remembers ET so well. I think its less replayed than other Katy Perry Songs. My mum had the Teenage Dream CD so played TF out of it on the way to school and stuff. Also I made a really crappy animatic to it on my 3DS using Flipnote - The audio is super tinny because I used the 3DS Microphone to just record the song playing on my laptop. 😭 Anyway, ramble over - You have a really cool vibe and idk how you got recommended to me, but hey I'm glad!! Hi Zoe you have awesome music in your collection! So what if it's quirky, let everybody else deal :) I like a lot of Lemon Demon! My favorite songs from them are I've Got Some Falling To Do, Geeks In Love and Lifetime Achievement Award. oh and Ultimate Destiny lol Also Neil Cicierega is genius. He did so much other stuff, like his mashup albums, animations and Potter Puppet Pals. And of course Brodyquest. OK Computer definitely is the best Radiohead album, I will die on that hill. Let Down is my fave song tho Talking Heads is S-tier. Both albums you have are certified classics. Did you ever see the movie Stop Making Sense? Even if you hate live stuff, it's so good TMBG Flood may be their best album, that or Lincoln. For some reason I really like both their obvious songs (Birdhouse In Your Soul and Istanbul) and their weird ones (Minimum Wage and They Might Be Giants) I haven't gotten into Oingo Boing much sadly, even tho I love new wave and I appreciate Danny Elfman's movie scores. Did you hear the song Louise tho? One more thing, the best Kraftwerk song is actually Trans Europa Express. fight me ;)

You have some fantastic music choices! Talking Heads, They Might Be Giants, Oingo Boingo, and Radiohead are all fantastic! I'm anxiously waiting on my red vinyl pressing of They Might Be Giants' Lincoln to be delivered. I have a copy of Spirit Demon on Minidisc, which is a super portable out-of-print music format from the 90s. Neil's meme album, Mouth Moods, is one of my all-time favorites for how he manages to mix and morph songs in hilarious, mind-blowing ways. I could talk about that album all day! Neil is one of my favorite creative artists and was very influential to my humor. If I were to give recommendations from your music tastes, I'd say check out the discographies of Devo and The B-52s! Whenever I think of Oingo Boingo, those artists always come up on my mind as well. Keep up building your music collection and RUclips channel! Your collection is nothing but bangers!
