That was delightful. Left a lump in my throat. Loved your vocals and the guitar arrangement worked for me. You deviated a bit from Randy Newman's harmonies but it still felt consistent with the sentiment. Thanks for doing this.

Since it is the melody that makes this song so memorable, credit should be given to Bill Elliot, who co-wrote it with Warnes. Cohen wrote the first two lines of lyrics, which helped Warnes shape the rest of them. It is therefore wrong to call it "his" song, as so many people assume

De details vind ik met name ook passend; de witte cirkeltjes in verschillende vormen, vooral de liggende 8, wat wel wordt gezien als het symbool van het oplossen van karma. Ook de bewegingen vanuit het midden naar buiten toe, beweging vanuit de bron, de bron waar we weer naar toe aan het wandelen zijn om uiteindelijk weer samen te vallen met wat we in essentie zijn?
