Imagine if you could get on an express light rail in south Lebanon sit down, veg a little and be in Newport in 20 minutes. Would people around here be going to places like this more often? I’d say so. But when I have to drive 30-60 minutes in cruddy traffic to drink 🍻 I’m way way less likely. The automobile addiction is absolutely stifling locally owned businesses all of them but especially breweries. I lived in Portland Oregon for a short time and experienced good mass transit rail service and it is incredible for local businesses.

This is interesting to me! I can totally understand why people think it tastes flat. When I first tried it out of the can, I had the same thought and wondered if maybe I’m drinking it wrong. Chilled glass with ice is much much better. Hard pour too to get as much foam as possible. I also love regular carbonation. But I like nitrogen carbonation a bit more. It’s a lot more subtle. The carbonation comes as an after effect and the foam is actually drinkable and delicious, unlike in traditional soda. I do wish the carbonation had a bit more of a punch, it really is just barely noticeable. But if it did I suspect the foam wouldn’t be as delicious and creamy. I wouldn’t replace traditional soda with it, but I think it’s a legitimate option to have alongside if you’re looking for a creamy sweet cold drink.

Taste the best when its in a bottle and you freeze it for 20 or 30 mins first and pour it in a cup. That gives it a little more flavor. Since its not fermented it wont be as sweet as regular beer with a whole lotta flavor and minus the alcohol flavor. But if you just wanna taste beer hops and dont wanna have to deal with a hang over it works

Helps me stay sober I can say it helps the urge going on 2yrs and 3 months sober 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

That's my only "complaint" about the Oktoberfest beers coming out this early, Although the season starts next week, so it's not too early, but by the end of August/Early September they are all gone. Same issue with all the Pumpkin beers coming out in August, and not being available in Oct/Nov. Also, Grainworks is out, might not be in the store yet, but it is on the way, it is in the taproom.

What style on the Big Cis if Darkness is brewing.

I visited Cincinnati last summer and fell in love with Rhinegeist. Their selection of different beers on tap was outstanding and the taproom + rooftop bar was awesome! I will also make a point to visit Rhinegeist whenever I find myself in Cincinnati.
