Heard "The Lick" twice
@@TomiSimatupang 😂
Sounds good! Which version is the melody? Your own?
Thank you! This is based on the original version by Tchan Tchou Vidal
Sounds great. Where did he post this? I haven't seen it.
@@BucoBucolini thank you! It was a story on instagram
Oh yaaaa!!!!!
Thank you! We also tagged you in the Instagram stories with another solo if you want to share dear Sensei!
❤🎶❤ I love your beautiful playing 👍 👏👏👏 Thanks for all videos 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you very much! 🙏
Bravo !! Superbe
@@rousselotpaul 🙏
Yeah that's it!
Good stuff
Not sureabout the intro everything else vry nice
@@GeeBear3.1415 thank you! You don't think it fits or you don't like how it sounds?
Sounds great 👍
great stuff!
This is fantastic man, a brand new classic!
Thank you Buco, that is too kind haha 🙏
Most guitarists go for Django,s blistering speed and ignore what made him special. This guitarist knows its tone and feel and emotion thats important
@@davidwalker5054 thank you very much! 🙏
Fast Eddy is the reason I took up guitar when I was a teen. When Overkill and Bomber came out they changed my musical life. I could probably play you every song off those and Ace of Spades . My all time favourites !! Good stuff!
❤🎶❤ Das ist so gut 👍 👏👏👏 Danke 🙏🙏🙏
@@brigittetorres9745 vielen Dank! 🙏
Great playing. The backing track sounds a little woofy. Is that a new guitar? i think I see a small change in the right hand, looks and sounds good.
Thank you! Ok, thanks for the feedback, might be a mastering setting i slapped on, sounded good on my system but might have been too bassy on other systems then, good to know. Yes, it's a Volkert i recently got used for a very good price
Great sound, great playing.
@@BucoBucolini thank you very much! 🙏
amazing performance of all musicians involved !!
Isnt that Benj?
Yes, Benji Winterstein on rhythm guitar, unfortunately the title was too long so i only listed the soloists. Brady Winterstein joins later in the video.
@@A.Lautner oh i see!
Hallo Brigitte, vielen lieben Dank.Ja, Samoreau und Forbach waren wirklich großartig! Schöne Grüße an deinen Mann und bestimmt bis bald mal!
Oh ya! First lick is from Wasso Grünholz, the Godfather of Dutch Gypsy Jazz!
Very cool info, thank you! I guess you can imagine where i stole it from haha
I Love Fast Eddie!!!
Too bad the chitchat is louder than the music but still you can hear the accompaniment is first class. And so glad to see you connected with the grandmaster Sam F!
@@BucoBucolini thank you Buco! Yes it was awesome, those even were my first tones the first day at Samoreau haha
Sorry about me and Knut chit chatting in Norwegian 😂

🔥🔥🔥
i love it song!
Nice! I love that vintage orange. What amp are you using?
Thank you! Yes i think it's beautiful too! I used a Peavey Classic 30 head with a selfmade 1×12" cab loaded with a blackhawk 50 alnico speaker
@@A.Lautner Nice amp; similar to a VOX AC30(?). Thanks for following up.
@@ZackyDog yes, it's like a JMP mixed with a bit of Vox due to thr tube config. Very bare bones clean channel, great break up, always cuts through in live settings and the older made in us ones are very reliable
@@A.Lautner I've read some goo/great things about Warehouse Speakers. I've been using Celestion Blue alnicos for decades and the Blackhawk 50 alnico is purportedly a 50 watt version of a Celestion Blue alnico.
Sick.
Is this song a cover of a jazz standard or some like that?
From the djangobooks blog: "L’Emigrant is a popular flamenco standard which Bousquet interprets in the neo-flamenco style of the Gitan."
@@A.Lautneraha thank you. Im suprised its flamenco, i couldnt really tell

Espectacular
Nice sound
Love mine so much,3years later I’m still watching videos of it.Mine showed up in perfect playing condition. My favorite to this day.
Great done ! Good impro ! Could you please tell me the way you edited the vodeo and audio? That vintage style stuff makes it the 110%! Cool !
Thank you! Sure, for video i used the front cam from my phone, which already is grainy in a low light setting like this. Then i used some stock plugins from the freeware video editing software Shotcut, like a Sepia LUT, brightness correction, a vignette, "projector simulation" with changing brightness and some dust particles. For the audio i recorded with a normal condenser mic and then applied slight compression and impulse response from an old RCA ribbon mic, heavy low and high frequencies EQ cuts and saturation overdrive (which also had some tape wobble effect built in). Hope that helps!
@@A.Lautner Thanks a lot !!
so blown away by gypsy. thanx for that
Thanks!🙏
Certainly got that swing!
Thank you!
I got one a couple months ago, love it, best guitar I’ve ever has
Great tone man! I tried a Filtertron in my Les Paul aswell, but cant get that jangly spank you had goin on. Aprox what pickup height do have in the clip? And are the pole pieces raised or flat? Cheers!
That’s cause it’s not a filtertron That’s a tv jones
Yeah man!
You go Cat... ❤
❤
Jawoll! Bravo!
Love that metalic sound!!
Love the vintage tone 😍
Wow great how did you get Django’s IR tone. I tried to do the same with moeer radar
I just tried different vintage mics from this site and went by ear which suits my own recording chain best for the closest approximation to Djangos tone: micirp.blogspot.com/?m=1
Vous jouez tres bien, et ça cerrait bien que vous fassiez une video de cette chanson complète en guitarre solo.
thank you very much
I payed one in Silver flitter trim in our band in the 60th.... it was a great guitar at that ime...
hat's too big, though. :-)
Thanks for the input. The brim certainly is on the wider side, but I respectfully disagree.
That’s incredible. Authentic sounding. I play a couple of hours a day…… maybe I should double that. Regards.
Thank you 🙏This means much to me!
