High-Functioning Trafford youngsters enjoy the festive spirit.

A film made by the youngsters at High-Functioning Trafford, Manchester. The aims of this Film Makers Club were to learn creative communication skills, develop social skills, deepen friendships, work as a team and have fun! The club was made possible due to the support of Trafford Housing Trust.

Trafford school children take a barge trip down memory lane as they uncover the stories surrounding the Hulmes Ferry. Local residents recall childhood memories of waving to captured U boats during the war and American soldiers throwing them sweets as their boats passed by Irlam Locks. They also discover some interesting facts about the derelict mystery cottage by the canal. By Abigail Fernandez...
