The ignorance of the broken generations that still exist! The problem is nobody wants to talk about the past! If u don’t pay attention to history it repeats itself! The lack of acknowledging that racist still exist within the black communities shows you try to gaslight the everyday life of other individuals that walk that storm! (White Europeans) Hundreds of years ago, the ottoman empire would kidnap said Slavic people while invading westward, bring them to their ships, chain them down to a bench, and have them row said ships all day every day. After they were chained down they were never allowed to get back up. One ship could have hundreds of slaves onboard at a time. If the ship sank they sank. If they died (most of which did) they were just thrown overboard. Where did they go to the bathroom? Exactly where they sat. They literally worked themselves to death while they cooked in their own skin, and shit. This is considered the worst form of slavery to ever exist. But we white folk don’t let it bother us. Know why? Because we have, along with a lot of your community, realized that while slavery is and was bad, it happened a very very long time ago, and there are better things to worry about this “generational trauma” you speak of only exists because people don’t stop it. Say for example, you have a sister, and she tells her daughter… Lisa that all the little white Boys and girls hate her because she’s black. Let’s say Lisa goes to school, and gets in a fight with a white kid named Sheldon, and she tells Sheldon “you just hate me because I’m black” and for the rest of the school year she’s mean to Sheldon, and every time he’s mean back, she says he just hates her because she’s black. Well eventually after being told that the reason he feels angry at her isn’t because she’s mean, but because she’s black, he’s going to start thinking he hates her because she’s black. And 30 years later Sheldon tells his little boy that all the black kids hate him because he’s white. It’s a cycle. And you’re just feeding it.
