I stopped watching OITNB right before poussey 💔 and was considering starting it back over but damn this just made me so sad I don’t think I want to anymore 😔

I couldn't stand her character the first season. Absolutely thrilled when Chapman beat the crap out of her. Then she changed so much the rest of the show. I reallt liked her and was rooting for her. Was not expecting to see her die. the fast she passed her test just made it all the more tragic.

I will always love OITNB and appreciate what all they stood for but how can they do this to me after such a sad breakup of Flaca & Maritza and seeing how relieved & happy they were to see each other again??? 😢😢

I cried. I'm actually from New York and Dominican. However, I grew up in a weird small upstate town. This whole series, I knew all of the New York counties and boroughs they were talking about. They talked about Spanish Harlem, and it reminded me of a college professor I have. He grew up in Spanish Harlem.

I actually felt bad for her when she died. I hated her, but she went through a lot of changes

I remember hating her in the beginning. Doggett ended up being one of the most liked characters rip. Just goes too show how good the writing is.

I don’t feel bad for Maritza at all. She had it coming. Her mom brought her to the greatest country on earth for opportunity and she wasted it being a degenerate and it caught up to her.

This show is fantastic at character development. I went from liking daya season 1 to hating her season 7 and the opposite for pensatucky.

The reason i love this show is because it matches how i feel everyday. Sometimes people are just together at the wrong time and place in life. Sad but true.

Daya’s character development is difficult to swallow but so realistic. I witnessed both of my sisters follow a similar path as her. Starting out kind and innocent, being manipulated by men, then becoming the very same monsters that abused them.

She had potential to do good
