Are you Quitting Because of Weakness?
i rly dig ur vibe man 🫡
I really appreciate you saying so! Thanks for watching and sharing. Looking forward to sharing more.
Wanna have your mind blown? Visit Japan. When 99 percent of people have respect for others, it's amazing.
That does sound amazing! I'd love to visit some day!
Let's see how things are in 4 years
Time will tell! I believe that is why it is always good to do our part to help keep the world going when we can, and with the things we healthily influence with our strengths.
Off to rest now
JK will scroll on phone longer
@@melissaannmiller You got me! Rest well when you get there!

I did my own tattoo sleeve looked shitty but I was always gonna black it out So I did and it didn't work idk what I'm doing and have a cheap machine but I've been wearing my shitty tattoo and it's shitty but I've onky had family members bring it up it's basically cured my social anxiety and tbh I didn't have social anxiety till I smoked a lot of weed when I was in my early 20s
@@matthewhensley5165 Sounds like quite the journey! Are you saying that people bringing up your tattoo sleeve is what made a big difference in helping with your social anxiety?
I don't have spirituality. I am just me and I want people to be themselves. I may not like it but, hey, just be nice.
@@duvadjidgo9625 In the full video I dive into this more. Would be curious to hear more of your thoughts on that. Do you feel like you have a way to make sense of the world around you? To ground you? Thanks for taking the time to leave your thoughts! I appreciate it!
TRUMP 2024 BABY! 🥳🥳🎊🎉
Somebody's Happy! 😂
Thank you for this. I feel like more people should see this. The number of people cutting friends and family out of there life's over how they voted is so sad. I just wish they would take a step back and think about things. Presidents will come and go every 4 to 8 years, but relationships can last for life.
These things are very complicated, and I would agree that there is a simplicity it what it means to continue loving those around us through difficulties and difference of opinions, especially when it is hard. Thanks for your thought!
❤
❤
Interesting conversation! Thank you! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really appreciate your perspective on this!
Thanks! I appreciate you watching!
This was fantastic
Thank you so much!
Very interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for listening!
😊
☺
😊
Interesting and makes sense when you think about it, but people usually just talk about the happiness point
Right? These things often look different than we initially think upon first viewing.
2:45 love that addition
Thanks! Meaning truly adds a lot to our experiences, and the lack of it steals.
Crazy when you actually picture the amount of views of those were people filling seats in a room 🎉
Hard stuff to navigate for a relational job
Part of the experience :)
Great information! Good advice! Insurance/Medical offices and how they bill, are definitely worth looking into! It can save you lots of $$ to do your due diligence!
Absolutely!
Empowering advice!
Thanks!
❤

Don’t engage it a debate if you cannot be emotionally mature. That’s good! It would go the other way too… Don’t engage in debate with someone who is not emotionally mature. 😊 Thanks for sharing your wisdom here!
Lots a great information to soak up here! Thanks for sharing!😊
16:53 approaching advice seeking that way is super sounds encouraging for the person you're reaching out to
9:43 I like this point. Kinda puts the quick but less informed answers into perspective
Feel like I should have a good question to pose to you after watching this 😅
@@melissaannmiller ask away! 🧐
Solid stuff
Thanks!
I love that example of mentorship coming from someone at an age that a lot of people probably wouldn't listen to
Yeah, to me a mentor's age is the experience they have in relation to what they are teaching, so this person was much "older" than me as far as I was concerned.
@@TheRyanMillerShow13 wise way to look at it
This would be an interesting topic to expand on for your business series. fear of self-advocating/promotion/betterment etc when it comes to your business ideas, connecting to a business community, or doing a sales pitch
@@melissaannmiller That's a really great idea! ❤
Love your mindset of sharing your business know-how instead of hoarding it
@@melissaannmiller Hey! Thanks so much! There's plenty to go around and the world is better when everyone is succeeding and working together :)
7:35 "even the role of a fool" is an interesting distinction
@@melissaannmiller I love archetypes in literature and how they show our development as people. Art imitates life thst way :)
8:26 not speaking to kids at the level we think they should be at isnt something I hear much about
@@melissaannmiller Thanks, I think it matters a lot for healthy communication with children...and adults
🐨🍵
@@melissaannmiller 🐧
For a culture that's so into "challenges", we have a massive commitment issue
@@melissaannmiller It often feels that way. We have a culture that struggles with selfishness and healthy boundary setting.
Thanks for the update!
No problem! :)
I like that assessment of when to allow yourself to quit a thing
Me too, I have been pondering it a lot since hearing for the first time about three weeks ago.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching!
I love seeing old library check out systems in books that are no longer owned by libraries. It's just cool to see old dates or even names of who was reading the book
@@melissaannmiller I do too! So much history and mysterious stories of other people. Its really cool!
5:34 dang that's such a phrase
@@melissaannmiller Isn't it?! It's one I've grown to love quite a bit, as it seems to have truisms in other cultures and seems to be pretty true when you think about peace being an action, not just a state of being.
Well I'm motivated now
@@melissaannmiller Good to hear :)
❤
I really like your back ground pics!! Thanks for sharing!
@@brandykelley7050 thanks so much! I really love that painting set! ❤
Not exactly what you're talking about but it makes me think of the scene in Confessions of a Shopaholic where the character over pays for a hotdog because "cost and worth are two different things"
That's a fun connection! Value, worth, cost, they all are more complex than we initially think!
Stoked for the coming book videos :)
Same here! Hope they are helpful and fun!
This whole thing made me think of Fear Factor 😅
Hopefully in a good way 😆
I like that element of entering a room and making it better, including just how you interact with someone in the room
@@melissaannmiller thanks, its an interesting thing to put in practice, but it seems to do a lot over time.
16:04 that's a useful mantra right there if i ever heard one 🤠
We can put it on a t-shirt 😅
