We Always Wear Gloves When Replacing The Car Battery.
One battery exploded on my works van. Sounded like a shot gun going off in the cab. Bad smell, white dust. When the mechanic got to it he said it’s all working fine. Move on a few months with various things not working and a chance conversation with another mechanic who asked does it have 2 batteries. No idea I said. He looked and showed me that the auxiliary battery had blown its self to pieces. Original mechanic said oh yes it’s a common fault with these. Anyway. The batteries have been replaced and things are working again.
I didn’t think to look for an aux battery. Do you know where that one is located?

@@rchauvin037 it’s not nearly that cold at home - this video was taken in central Florida where negative temps just don’t happen
Lived in alberta all my life every 2 to 3 winter we gett a week or 2 of -40 towtrucks rake in the money from cars not starting. Every so often stuff brakes from the cold. I wish we could run electric cars but that would not work with current battery teck.
Handles really good but so many problems with this van! Ford cut a lot of corners. The back brakes whare extremely quick compared to the front

Where did you find a pump with a pulley attached already?

Thank you Bud Higgins for great video. May I ask if you problems to rebolt the pump on engine mount? I recently changed my vacuum pump and had a slight problem rebolting the newer pump. We had to shave one end of a bolt shorter using a grinding saw in order to slip it back into position. Cheers and blessings.
ChrisCityCarsBikes&Trucks I recall having a little challenge with the mounting bolts due to the tight space everything needed to fit together in, but definitely not anything I needed to grind.
Hi may I ask if the Vacuum Pump you bought came with the pulley attached? I found one at Auto Discount Part for about $120. I uploaded a video with my vibrating Vacuum Pump. Maybe it's similar to yours. Thanks for sharing your nice video.
