Thank you for your tips and advice. I have read somewhere that it's not advised to blow into the machine because it can blow the fibre debris deeper into the machine and the moisture in the breath is not good for all the metal bits. I am wondering if a can of pressurised air might be better and more useful in this process?
Great idea. What size needle do you use for the heavier fabrics? Many thanks
Thanks Lizzie, I used my normal needle (14/90), but for bigger projects I would suggest using 16/100 needle.
