This is awsome! Would I be able to buy the files to print them?
Thanks mate! Unfortunately, they are only available as a purchase-able physical item for now!
@@ozy944 Ah alright thanks!
I just looked on the site Etsy and I can't find the mouse pad, can you provide the link to it?
Here you go mate! randomcreationsbyoz.etsy.com/au/listing/1238320582/mousepad-for-honeycomb-bravo-throttle
How did you managed this? )

Hello and greetings from Brazil! Congratulations for the project, it works flawlessly as far as I can see from the video. Do you sell these projects so we can 3d print them? Just the file? That would be awesome... 🙏🏻 And again, congratulations! 👊🏼
Hi mate, thanks for the comment. I looked into just providing STL files but its quite a bit more complicated than just 3d printing to get these mounts to be structurally sound. As such, have decided to keep the system as is for now. Thanks for the comment and interest, much appreciated!!
Hi mate,I might be a bit late but can you make a video about how you put your throttle quadrant and yoke under the table? Cheers
Is there something specific you would like to see?
@@ozy944 Yeah what do you do/have that makes you able to put your gear under the table
@@hmk3131 Thanks for clarifying! This is a kit that I sell in my etsy shop - its a quick attach-release mount for the honeycomb sim hardware.
Have you tried hacking the 2 worthless sliders on front of yoke. I simply can't believe TM did this! What is moreimportant is the space. Can they just be removed? Perhaps fabricate a plastic cover that looks professional?
Interesting idea! They certainly do look weird and even cheapen the look! FYI, you can take the caps off the sliders pretty easy :)
Looks nice! Would love something similar. Can you help?
Thanks! All my items are available to purchase from here: www.etsy.com/au/shop/RandomCreationsByOz?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1410024585
Great design. I was just wondering, is there a way to easily switch between the bravo being on the left side to the right side? Thanks
Yup, the mounting is identical so the best way to do this is have mounting positions for 3 mounts. That way you can use the outer Left or outer Right position for the throttle and the yoke goes in the center. Its exactly the setup I have :) Apologies for the delayed reply!
do you know clamp size? (how thick the desk can be but to still be able to clamp)
Hey mate, the maximum jaw width is approx. 2 inches. Hope that helps :)
@@ozy944 Thanks! Sadly my desk is too thick, being 2.4 inches thick.
If you are willing to make a slight modification to the yoke clamps, yup you could fit it.
@@ozy944 How would i be able to do that? really hope I can
@Cole You would basically detach the clamping bolts they've used and reinstall your won clamping bolts with a lower profile. You kind of have to see the yoke in the flesh - when you get a chance - see the two clamping bolts at the bottom of the jaw? You can detorque and take off the hats, and replace them with a lower profile one. That should buy you enough space. Obviously it involves making a change to your hardware haha
Hey matte, i fly a 737 in brazil and i'm getting one of those to keep my currency. Is it a problem that we dont have an elevator trim on the right side of the yoke?
Hey mate, I replied to your quesiton on the TM video. Obvioulsy the Honeycomb yoke could similarly be repogrammed but I just use the trim wheel :)
Hey matte, i fly a 737 in brazil and i'm getting one of those to keep my currency. Is it a problem that we dont have an elevator trim on the right side of the yoke?
Hey mate, good question. I don't find I miss it too much. I do have a honeycomb throttle alongside to adjust trim and that kind of works. I guess Thrustmaster did their best to come up with a relatively reasonable solution that works for most. If it helps (obviously it breaks the realism!), you could also reprogram the two sliders below the yoke for trim?
I have the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke & Bravo Throttle Quadrant. What exactly do I need to purchase to mount both under my desk please.
Hi Paul! Here you go - you can buy Alpha/Bravo or Logitech under desk mounts here: www.etsy.com/au/listing/1262819219/honeycomb-alpha-yoke-honeycomb-bravo?click_key=58e403fbd7f84543d1e4a0a385ce888afde204fb%3A1262819219&click_sum=2d96ac53&ref=shop_home_active_6&crt=1&sts=1
What throttle is that?
Hi mate! It's a Honeycomb Bravo throttle, but it includes some mods from Etsy (custom throttle controls, under throttle mousepad, under desk mounting system and illumination panels)
@@ozy944 I am planning on getting the Thrustmaster TCA Boeing pack, but i dont know whether I should use that throttle or get something from honeycomb. Thanks
@@person7587 I think thats a simple yet complicated question to answer :) If you are buying the TCA pack, it comes with I guess what you could call a 'functional throttle' - you fly with the throttle you have - its fine for that. But man, it feels nasty cheap...IMO of course. Whereas the Honeycomb throttle has much better modularity, there are heaps of accessories for it, it can easily be mounted under your desk or on top of your desk, custom throttle controls can be added and different configs....its just better :) So I guess if money is (relatively) no object, why suffer with the TCA throttle set.
i have a very very thin desk and i would like to know if the yoke clamps will completely close the gap despite having nothing in between the clamps as a scenario??? Excellent setup and Video!!!!
Hi mate, yes the clamps close completely. So should be fine :)
Im gonna get exactly the same setup in few weeks
Doooo ittt! It's soo rewarding flying when you have things set up just right :)
@@ozy944 I have exactly this setup on the way too!
@@viktorekman863 thats awesome! Hope you enjoy flightsimming with the new kit :)
@@ozy944 thx
Yeah that's dope. Wonder if we could get them on rails.. and just slide them back and forth instead of taking them off and hanging them on the wall.
Interesting idea :) let me think about it!
Great solution! What height do you have from floor to desk top?
Hey mate, this desk is about 690mm from ground to the bottom of the table top. Works well. I'm about 6ft and quite comfortable with the dual setup.
You know what is the most impressive thing is this video is....your cable management !!!
Hahah thanks for saying that mate! :) Yeah, I built this 'floating' desk for a bedroom to study COVID WFH conversion, and figured if you start from scratch, may as well tidy up all the cables while you are at it. Thanks for watching!
this is rad! if you're the seller, I believe I just purchased the Bravo mousepad from you and it's in transit now. very curious about the wall-mounted "storage" seen in this video. also tempted to grab the under-desk mount from you after seeing how slick it works. any other details you could provide about your wall-mount would be helpful! didn't see that in the Etsy store. thanks!
Yes mate I am the designer/seller. Actually made these for myself, and a friend suggested I post them on Etsy. Rest is history I guess. I really hope you enjoy using the mousepad, it's been really good for me - I'm also a day to day user of all these designs haha. The under desk mounts were more out of wanting something that also braced the back of the unit but wasn't a big hunk of timber/steel. Easy to install, easy to remove. The wall mounts should be posted on Etsy? Please let me know if you need more details than what is on Etsy :)
@@ozy944 i believe I'll probably end up grabbing the under-desk mount from you as well, at least for the Bravo. my question was more about the way you've stored your Alpha and Bravo on your wall, at the beginning and end of this video. is this a kit that you sell as well? i didn't see it on your Etsy page. apologies if I'm misunderstanding. thanks, can't wait for the mousepad!
