Great video Leanna! Just one thing - don't use your laptop camera to record videos - bad idea. Use an external camera. I checked your last video, seems you use something else to record and it looks good. But general word of advice - visit your local Henry's store and ask them for advice on what is good for a vlog camera.

The only reason why anyone is moving to Edmonton is because the Canadian government allowed millions of refugees into the country. They all flocked to Toronto and Vancouver which destroyed the housing market. They are all now starting to move to Calgary and Edmonton which has now destroyed the market here. Who would have thought bringing in millions of people and not having extra houses, vehicles, and resources in general would have done to our economy. And you wonder why the locals are bitter and non inviting. I am a born and raised Albertian. I no longer fathom the idea of ever owning a home. The same people that are moving here are the same people that are anti oil & gas which unfortunate for you is the only reason Edmonton exists. So please keep your old political beliefs behind.

All these comments bashing Edmonton. Where I work people just arrived and within 6 months bought a month and will be buying more. Toronto regulated to renting whole life, unless you have 1.5 million. Being landlord once lease expires tenants has to leave within 2 months, court dates super fast, not like Toronto when lease expires cant remove tenant. Cash flow is crazy and if you want landlord, mllionaire have to move here. Now with 8 plex single family lot crazy for people who have property even 5 years ago.

This is my personal viewThe housing cost for not old houses with issues about 800000 on average and electricity and gas about 500 to 1000 a month because of extra costs added by energy companies. Most houses built before 1990s have serious asbestos issues. Make sure you have a job before you come and edmonton has some of the highest crime rates in Canada. Food cost and gas very high.

From what I understand all house built before 1990s have asbestos so need abatement before any renos or move ins. Canada only banned asbestos use in buildings I believe 2018 you can verify with research

Food prices are crazy high eggs 7 or more carton meat extremely high.

I live here rents are unaffordable and very few safe housing areas that aren't to old to buy the average price for home 800000 in my opinion the cheap old homes are in dangerous high risk areas

Central Alberts is the place to move to if you have a skill or trade or a job lined up or to build a business "Innisfail hass it all". House prices sre leds than $250K - $350 K. I've met people from Niagra Falls, Orillia, Sudbury, and more. No crime, goid schools, a pool, good recreational areas, etc. But, as ive mentioned, you must be selfsufficient and contribute. If not, stay in Ontario. Otherwise go west young man (and woman)!
