No brakes on rig. Not required here. No reverse, you just get used to parking in the right spot.

Oh and as a Pomme whose lived in Oz for 50 years, i think you need to check out "The odd bit of Freeway" theyve got, 2300 miles of motorway(3700 kays) not bad for a small island 😂 and the A roads are often Motorway quality as well! Thats great But the country is sill bloody Grid locked! 😅 all that said i would rather drive in Oz any day with our wide open highways, pot holes, ruts etc( especially our Bruce Highway up here!) 2003 XJ8 4.2 X350 here North Queensland, Love the S type, driven them, love em! But a better car than XJ of same vintage??? Sorry I beg to differ! XJ 308, 350 and 358 is way better! In my personal opinion and I'm just not interested in any of the sedans after 2009! The XF eg?, now if I had only had a choice between XF and S type, Yes! Then I'd take the S type no contest as long as it was the V8 proper Jaguar AJ 33/34 engine but! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I’ve a manual 3 litre S Type and it’s fantastic. Especially considering that I paid £175.00 for it from a front garden. It was an MOT failure but the garage had lied. It only needed a sidelight bulb. I used it for a trip to Tuscany and back and it didn’t miss a beat. They’ll have to prise the keys from my cold dead fingers 😂.

I ride a sidecar hack, and never met one that didn’t benefit from a steering stabilizer. Mine actually has 2. And for any newer riders out there, don’t ride without gear. Skin grafts suck…..(Trust me).
