Summer Steamer'2020 - a taste of mountain-biking in the Florida Swamp during the hot & muggy Summer season. The heat index reached 105F under that ginormous Sahara dust cloud within a few hours of the morning start. Bob Robins, Al Holt, Mike and I were sweating it all out in the endless No Man's Land of palmettos. We saw no birds, no deer, no snakes and no squirrels in that Land of the Lost, and there was that stench of dead flesh as we were approaching the Hawthorne Trail.
