I know alot of people seem to love this take on Gorr, and I can see why, but I really do not like what they did with him in the MCU. Gorr in the comics was tragic, but he was not really that sympathetic beyond his origins. He was a man driven to extremes and when handed power he snapped and became the same as the monsters that hurt him. He was also much more grim, ruthless, and unrelenting. This version was a bit more sympathetic in the end, but also just kinda felt like Bayle aping Ledger's Joker but for the MCU. The comic Gorr was a serious threat. This Gorr was too jokey.
