I chose Ningguang every Lantern Rite for 4 YEARS - Genshin Impact
4 star dps characters are inherently at a disadvantage when it comes to meta performance, so it is no wonder people never consider Ningguang during lantern rite when other option like Xinqui and Xiangling are available.
However, I still think she is quite underrated. I have picked her during every lantern rite since the start of the game and she has been my most used dps throughout my genshin journey so far.

Details about how and why I spent 3 years saving up 1260 wishes in Genshin Impact and announcing a stream date that will happen here on RUclips. In case you are wondering why the advertised 200k primogems does not match what I have on the account, I am adding the value of the 127 intertwined fates that I own.
This is my ALL TIME favorite game and it is such a shame how nobody knows about it because of when Respawn Entertainment decided to release it. Between Battlefield 1 and a Call of Duty title

Im geo main...but i threw prototype amber on her. Used to be my burst dps but now she my team healer...i have itto c6 by the way and zhongli c2 and have vortex vanquisher on him i know his signature weapon is outdately cringe but it look so nice on him i 2 amos bow so i lost 50 50 twice on his spear :/ Sorry i got off topic here. Anyways why i didnt pick her in lantern right before i c6 ninguang is because i could just buy her in star glittershop. Yeah that was the main reason. Wow i used to have that much premos too but u had more fates while i had 180k primos. Didnt summon for 2 years. I welkin and sometimes buy the double top up... Nice summons. For itto summons c0 to c6...i only won 50 50 once im not joking...

@@Amber_loves-to_draw. oh Navia is a lot like Ningguang from what I saw. I also heard that Ningguang compliments her if used as a sub dps in her team, though do not take my word for it. You should look into it further.

Honestly Tighnari feels kind of similar to this during his part of the rotation- just swap in, burst skill and 3 CAs, and swap out. The main benefit is that you don't need Zhongli, who feels nearly unplayably clunky to me. Then again you do have to worry a bit about rotations, I have had far too many times where I belatedly realize that the Quicken aura isn't up because I'm doing half damage. IMO Tighnari feels a lot like quickswap Ningguang.

This was a great stream, both for fun and as data for an insight I had recently. Some highlight moments for me: 53:11 - The 10-pull where he gets C6 Alhaitham 53:54 - Explaining that his happiness does not generate typical "streamer" reactions 1:05:29 - Getting super excited and happy about getting two 5-star weapons in one 10-pull, even though the second weapon is an unwanted standard 5-star weapon 1:11:45 - Getting excited about getting his first Kuki Shinobu 1:24:59 - More excitement for another Kuki Shinobu, followed shortly by less excitement for R5 LoFI The insight I (another mega-saver) had: while a player who saves to guarantee 5-star outcomes does have an overall better emotional experience with the game by avoiding the inevitable disappointment of gambling losses, that player will not often experience the emotional highs enjoyed by typical players. When "winning" is guaranteed, it isn't as enjoyable as winning a real gamble. This can be seen in this stream: all of the guaranteed Alhaitham and LoFI wins were "meh" excitement, but all of the unguaranteed Kuki wins elicited much greater excitement. The same thing applies to the artifact grind (1:33:13). Sure, getting the "perfect" artifact with ideal substats is more exciting than getting "good-enough" artifacts, but most players will have more fun overall by avoiding the despair of grinding endlessly for Def% goblets. I wrote Hoyolab posts about both of these topics, but I only realized now that it's the same fundamental pattern. Heck, even the fundamental principle of tabletop RPGs is based on this pattern, as noted by Navia during the recently-released Clorinde story quest. Excitement over winning depends critically on the real possibility of losing. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to record this stream! And I do appreciate you sweating it out for the sake of having good audio quality during this historic event!

I've been playing Ning since I started the game. My Ning does around 1m personal damage per rotation, which is around 15% less than C0R1 Navia at same investment. She is definitely not bad with investment.
Interesting, mind sharing what build you use and in what team?
@@AlbazRaq C6 Ning R1 Cashflow MH set, Zhongli, Bennett and Furina. Not very good in AOE situations tho cuz her burst and CA is single target.
Get xingqui if you don't have him C6 Xianling if you don't have her c4 Beidou if you don't have her c2. Ninguang if you are early game and don't have a DPS
Solid advice, especially for those who need to make their account stronger to clear content.
I would put Xiangling c4 at a higher priority rather then c6 Xingqiu. It would be c0 Xingqiu, Xiangling c4 and then Xingqiu. Not sure why Beidou shes good but you dont have to build her.
@@the_real_tabby i would put getting bennet above xiangling if youre gonna use her. she needs energy recharge, shes worthless early game bcs you dont have acess to that. getting bennet first would be better. then c4 xl.

@oye4103 I didn't say Bennett is at lantern rite. I said make sure to have Bennett before you get xiangling. you could've even got xl first, but not build her until you get Bennett later on my point was, is that xl can only function with bennett

My Ningguang has unironically always been a crucial part of my gameplay. I love her appearance (she's gorgeous) and she's powerful. I have 5 star DPS like Itto and Chiori - and I feel like she outperforms them. My current mono-geo team consists of Gorou, Zhongli, Chiori (played full support) and Ningguang. Absolutely slaps when it comes to damage, and my most reliable team for dealing with certain domains like the newest artifact domain with the three Remurian constructs (Mono geo completely annihilates their geo shields) and for most bosses, including the new Arlecchino weekly, where Ningguang performs better than my Arlecchino herself.
That is interesting going the pure geo route. Props to you, you took a look at the elemental reaction system the game has and went "nah". I wonder, have you ever considered adding Navia to the team?
@@AlbazRaq Never really was interested in Navia, despite her clear power. Jyst didn't really vibe with her as a character, and anyway, she wouldn't work in a Mono-geo setup anyway, considering she likes to be one of if not the *only* Geo character on the field to get those nice Geo resonance bullets. The way mono-Geo works is very self contained, and the team actually flows super well. I've always run Mono-geo, though it used to be Itto instead of Chiori, and with Ningguang using the craftable catalyst that heals when you ult to turn her into a pseudo healer... And even then she still did decent to high damage. Now with the Widsith in her hands and Chiori, Zhongli, and Gorou buffing her? She's insanely powerful. Also the beauty of Mono geo is that your energy just refills so, so fast.

Ah, I might not have been clear. I spent 3 years not pulling on any limited banner, and recently spent the 1000+ saved up pulls on Alhaitham. So I just picked up her constellations from lantern rite every year, last year i got the final one.
@@kempoy1899 she was my first 4 star that I got on the Noelle starter banner.

This took me way longer than expected, but I wanted to get it out before I do the account showcase stream. I will probably remake this video come next Lantern Rite, to provide more information and a deeper guide on how to use her. True, could have all been qiqis. Plus after I am done setting up Alhaitham's team I wanna look into have a charged attack bow dps team. Ganyu always seemed so convenient against certain enemies like the rift wolf boss and the narwhale, I want to see how good Tighnari and Sethos would be.

Ahh.. good luck? I don’t want to say anything but there are a lot of more useful characters are you sure you will not be upset after getting C6 Alhaitham? You know.. even I don’t think that’s a good investment since I’m a Diluc main for almost 2 years Main DPS is good but… everyone surely needs good supports
I am aware, and I am very pleased with c6 Alhaitham. I already have some good supports and I can always get more in the future.
