i don't think this monstrosity can make a sharp turn on the highway. Offroading? It should have side wheels to support it when it flips when the center of gravity shifts.

I love what you have done. We are going to some of the most beautiful places on earth why not see it even when you are inside. Also I would suggest that you make your bed front to back.

I think the window additions help improve the overall look, but with so many windows it looks like a passenger van. I probably would not have added windows to the rear section. It definitely is an improvement overall.

My initial thought was it went ftom "you want some candy?" to "you want to go see dinosaurs?" Good call! ❤

OMG!! I just started shopping MB S vans. This had me on the floor laughing so hard at how bad these simple problems were. I spit my coffee across the room in laughter when he demonstrated the squeaking. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO, that is sooooo blatantly bad, and I'm sure its such an easy fix before you put it on the showroom floor......like teflon spray? MO rons!!! I'm still going to buy one, but I am so grateful to Jon, for enlightening us in a frustrated humorous wtf way!!!!

I want this. But all electric. And definitely NOT Ford... And not quite as long. Take at least a good 10 feet off the back. Get rid of the under belly storage. It hangs too low. Get rid of the bed in the back. I'll use the cab over. Then, put the bathroom across the back to give it more room. Then, the kitchen, dining, and seating could all be in the middle. Put a boat load of solar on the roof. Even more on the hood. Then, have supplemental panels you can set out on the ground and plug into the truck. Have enough solar that the batteries could be fully charged in about 2 days. I bet it's possible.

Good luck finding solutions for all the complaints. As for the MBux, I have no idea what aftermarket options there are but in my 4Runner I replaced the decent touchscreen head unit with a true Android unit, larger screen, better screen, and the bezel was a direct replacement for the Toyota styling. Cost a few bucks but it was a 100% solution to my frustration at the factory offering.

Check your sliding door. Sounds just let me mine. It's the sliding door. It's off, not looking ned up properly. You can check the van contour lines on the outside

I will admit though... in Europe for sure, Mercedes cars and their commercial vehicles (vans, trucks etc) are 2 very different companies. Different dealerships etc.

I am surprised you guys don't get the VW Crafter. Its the main rival for the Sprinter and tbh its actually a better van.

I actually like how and where they they put the fuel filler. There's just way too many fuel thieves just lining up, and damage your car to steal your fuel.

We sold our 2020 model because the lane-keeping system was dangerous. Instead of providing steering assistance, it only applied the brakes and pulled us towards the ditch.

You are whiny, most of those things you would have seen before buying it. It’s all petty minor things. Go check out the ford, I’m sure the seat belt could be at a better angle and the 12v power slightly closer. You’d be crying like this over any car. Go look at how much new trucks cost, everything is expensive now. You can get sound deadening as an option. You got the cheaper model. Loosen up your dress a little and get in there and add it since you cheaped out originally

⁠ Hey Everybody! This is in all Honesty (Hand on Heart) a TRUE STORY! I have a 2020, same model but with the 3.0L turbo engine. I think it’s a 319 from memory? (Not Important) Anyway, that’s besides the point. I’m in the exact same position as you when it comes to design issues I honestly thought that it would be slightly better considering the amount of money that they cost, especially Downunder. I am disabled Guy in my late 40’s (Due to being run over by a truck when I was Three (lost my right leg, right hip and pelvis is pretty much gone now and my lower spine has left the Chat. Also I’m a semi-functional paraplegic that suffers from a lot of Chronic Pain and other things, but hey. Such is life and Life goes on, right? lol 😂). Anyway, I drive from my Power Wheelchair, so Imagine my surprise, frustration and horror when I had to refuel my shiny brand spanking new “Mercedes Sprinter” for the first time, lol 😂. And after enjoying the first real freedom and excitement It quickly became apparent that I needed to get some fuel. At first I was like, ah no worries. But then it became very evident that the closer I got to the Diesel Pumps, that the electronic sliding side door, which is where the Solid Metal One Piece wheelchair Ramp lowers from, (it’s basically a hydraulic lift that is also electronically controlled lol) that is on the left side of the Van because we are Righthand drive vehicles Downunder. So then I realising that there is no way to lower the ramp safely, I can’t just jump out and walk around 🤣. So I finally put everything back in place, finally find a service station with a single and separate Diesel pump, get myself unloaded finally, only to find out that I now have to open the passenger door, to open the fuel door, so as to get to the fuel cap, 🤣. So there I was, feeling like I had finally got it all sorted out, YAY !!! But NO! I ended up going home without any fuel. Because in my haste to find the right fuel pump, with the correct amount of clearance I needed, in all the excitement I missed the sign that said- OUT OF ORDER.

When I got my 18 I was mostly amused by some of the idiosyncrasies. My build quality is solid, but the 18s are thankfully, very low tech and I have upgraded much. Do you still have it?
