SEVENTEEN CATS rescued just before the area was bombed
A lady reached out to us to help her remove 20 of her cats from one of the heavily bombed areas in Beirut Southern Suburbs. She had rescued them from the streets and cared for them but was having difficulty getting them to safety. She tried her best to get them food and water whenever she had the chance to reach the house.
The cats were terrified and she needed help trapping them. Our team was able to trap 16 cats! Sadly 4 of the cats had died because of the situation and one cat was too difficult to reach so the team placed a trapping cage for the next day.
As soon as our team got out of the area, a warning to evacuate came out and the area was heavily bombed. They made it out just in time...
