How to make easy paper rose flowers using Distress oxides colours #DIY
This time I am making realistic look Pink Rose flowers using white cardstock.
This was a fun video ,creating realistic look cardstock rose flowers.I haven't used any water to wrinkle or curve the petals as I did in my previous video.
I have used pigment based colours i-e Distress oxides.These give a powdery look. You can use any Dye based inks and ink pads like any regular colour stamp but since it's more of a liquid touch, it will be absorbed differently when applied on the cardstock. However the pigment based gives a cloudy look ( like the distress oxides) and we can build up our colour intensity using blending brushes. The dye based ink pads will soak more in the paper making it less eas...

You are getting a more square shape to the lantern because you are making 3 double crochets into the spaces... instead of a 3 double crochet cluster...which is a double crochet stitch and you only do the first part, keeping loops on hook...then 2 more the same way and in the end you draw the yarn through the last remaining loops and you end up with a more pointed cluster...sorry, not explaining it well. Just Google how to make a 3 double crochet cluster stitch. Love the colours you are using.😊

There are proper Surah for the Kiswa door of Kabaah/ proper writings of what to write where/ I do have an upcoming video soon for my original kiswa calligraphy/ This is Mighty Kaaba painting and its Bismillah and Shahada repeating on top and "Allah hu Rabbi" in the oval ones.

This is a copy of @janiecrow her design released years ago .. does this not infringe her copyright should you not mention her !
The lantern shape is not her own design, she changed it a bit to make it more rounded. The shape is based on ogee curve, been around for ages, long before janie; there are numerous variations if u google it.
