‼️Everyone is confused about this. So, guys here this is a basic breakdown from a previous purchase I made applying the new structure. Read it closely. If the item is $30 + the taxes + the shipping. Here's an example from my purchases I made last summer. Bundle price: 30 Shipping 7.97 Tax 2.84 Total order: 40.81 If I made this purchase today. The new structure for the buyer & the seller IS based off the $40.81 NOT the $30 bundle price. 40.81 x 5.99 + $2 (additional respective fee for below $50 sale) that's 4.45 Which might sound good as a seller but with the past fee my fee was $6. I only get $1.56 more. For the additional challenge now of the buyer also pays that 4.44 fee. As a buyers my order total goes from 30 bundle + 7.97 shipping + 2.84 taxes PLUS $4.44 BUYER FEE = bring my total to $45.25 I hope everyone is beginning to see much this is going to HURT your sales. I'm mostly a seller, but as a buyer I go to my checkout page and my 30$ items turns into $45 because of an almost $5 "buyers fee" I'm not buying. As a seller is a lost sale worth the difference of 24$ or 25.56.... No. I WANTED to love this idea as much as every other seller, but the truth is Poshmark is screwing everyone. With the 20% sellers fees Poshmark made $6 off that $30 sale. With the NEW SYSTEM, Poshmark makes (if ANYONE BUYS) seller fee 4.44 + buyers fee 4.44 = 8.88 Who wins? Poshmark. Who loses? Buyers paying a (in my opinion, unethical fee). Who loses? Sellers. Losing sales.

This is a massive fee increase. On an average $28 item, they will be collecting over 30% of sale price, in total fee between buyer and seller. It gets far worse on cheaper items. The fee will be 100% on a $3.50 item, 73% on a $5 item, 63% on a $10 item, 46% on a $15 item, and 38% on a $20 item. The total fees they collect are only cheaper on items over $100.

I buy and sell on mercari and posh. With fee changes on mercari, I buy less. I will buy less on posh now. It's also annoying to see a price and have to think: with shipping, 5.99%, Plus $1, $2 or $3, is it still worth it?

Charging buyers extra is never a good idea especially with the current economy...We're not going to be making larger profits what a complete lie lol We are going to get way more lowball offers & we're going to have to lower our prices in order to accommodate the fees that the buyer has to pay 😢 I can't believe Poshmark thought it was a great idea to start this during 4th quarter 😖 im so disappointed..😭

Thanks for the heads up! I already said peace out to Mercari, and I'm prepared to walk from Posh, too. The sites already nickel and dime the buyers/sellers up the wazoo! I'm hoping it doesn't happen, but I'm not too too confident.

I’ve been a Posh Ambassador since 2020. As soon as I hit that milestone, I’ve been asked to review listings to see if I thought they were authentic. It’s pretty silly actually. We aren’t trained authenticators! 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

I had a listing pulled by Pura dor which is just a shampoo but I learned it had that hair loss prevention stuff in it. Then I got a Nue Co hair serum in a fab fit fun which has the same ingredients and that too was pulled.

What I found to be a great savings for lunch meat is to buy the cryovac sliced ham or turkey in the meat dept., it’s fully cooked and you can get good quality for $5.99 or less a pound. Way less expensive than the deli.

They have eliminated the fee for sellers, but they have passed the fees to the buyers. I bought an item for $20. By the time they added the fees that item was $38. I won’t buy from Mercari anymore!!

The POSHNARKS Need to be "Restricted" or "Censored" ..
