60's Rock Climbing at Cow and Calf Rocks

Some Cinecam footage my grandfather took in the early 1960's of some climbers in the quarry at the Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley, Yorkshire. Check out what looks like some interesting belaying at 18s!
The water slide and train came from Golden Acre park,Leeds
enjoyed many a summer holiday as a kid in the early 70`s,a magical and fun place then.
This is pure gold, thanks for putting this here !!! I used to go to Scarborough every year with my parents for holidays in the early/mid 1960s and this is like going back in time. I used to love the "water slide" in Peasholm Park, but what amazes me in your film is how small it actually was - I have memories of it being much much bigger, but that's how it is when you're small. I've just watched again and it brought a tear to my eye.
@tammyonelove Nice, Always good to get out on grit, even at 2:30am?! I've only played a bit here bouldering etc with some non climber mates but it has its own vibe having had so many people go there for so long. Thanks for appreciating !
