Looks nice❤
What brand are the indicators on that bike?
I can't tell for sure but does this bike have 32mm manifolds like a '72 Combat ? It also looks like it might have a shaved head, also like the '72 ?
A pity to hear the neutered exhaust note from the steel can welded onto the expansion chambers. Call me a traditionalist but theirs something crazy about a 130db two-stroke exhaust note…
Has an exhaust leak (not a big deal) and maybe a jetting issue. But, one of the best Yamahas ever. I had one.
Back in the day, that thing was Bad Bad Bad! ❤
I had a TR2B wonderful bike.Your bike looks fantastic, your video brings back many great memories for me.Thamkyoi
Gorgeous bikes!
Wish I still had one.
ART.
Sounds crispy
Beautiful bike Alex! It sounds to me like it is idling on only one cylinder though. A good way to check this is to pull off one plug lead while it's idling quite fast (as it was when you were videoing it here). I'm guessing if you were to do this you'd find your bike can idle on one side but not on the other. (Try not to get a belt from the plug cap as you're pulling it off though. - I use rubber gloves to prevent this.) I had this same problem and tracked it down to an excessively worn carburettor slide and neck on the side that wasn't firing during idle. PS. The only reason it doesn't sound like it's idling too fast now is because it's firing on only one cylinder (if my observations are correct)..
so a nice noice
I confess I strongly disliked the oil in frame Triumphs when they first came out. But they've really grown in me during the passing decades, even the first ones. Yours is especially nice. I wish the ones they sold Stateside were as nice.
Agree.. I ride a 1970 T120. Last of the dry frames too...
sounds awesome
The way that started cold is a sure definite stopped up pilot jet in a carburetor
Very nice. What front end is fitted to it?
It's of a CZ
That's the 1987
Thank you
Beautiful
people might look at this vid in 100 years time and think what an incredibly amazing motorcycle and what a brilliant job the person who made the video did. and he owned and rode the 748r.
