Oh wow! That's lucky to have found so many, though I totally know what you mean about not being able to save them all. I don't think I'd be able to either - just so much money to leave sitting outside without a purpose. Thoooouuuuugh, I've decided to just save my star notes until an emergency happens that forces me to use them, so they are sort of a mini emergency fund haha.

Hahaha I loved your reply! Cuz I'm definitely a real person who was very excited hahahaha! Star notes are bills that have been reprinted to replace a faulty bill of the same serial number. To show that it's a reprint, the serial number has a little star at the far right side, hence why we call them star notes. There are some star notes out there actually worth money because they were rare reprints, but none of mine have fallen into that category as of yet. Overall, it's just a fun little challenge to see how many I can collect. I'll probably keep collecting mine until an emergency forces me to use that money.

Hi Yej! I love crisp bills too, though sometimes they are a challenge to count when they are too crisp haha. And I knooooow, I always want to ask at the bank as well, but end up chickening out. I don't want to make their jobs more difficult for silly reasons.

I thankfully didn't have any issues at all with Hogwarts on Steam, but I play on PC since I don't have a Steam Deck (yet - soon hopefully muahaha). But I'm dying to play on PS5, I've heard it's just gorgeous!

My husband and I are putting all our extra monies towards paying off our last credit card and then after we are going to build a $1k emergency fund. I do have an FSA through work, so that’s my medical fund. It’s why I don’t stuff for it separately. Hope that helps answer your questions! :)

I'm normally OCD on the bills, but I totally let it slack these past couple of weeks and that cost me the $20 in overdraft fees. The sadness! But that's okay, that's why we budget so that even with unexpected costs we can still make the payment. And giiiiiirl the housekeeping is a lifesaver for my husband and I. We have a small house and pay $150 every 2 weeks, which I find a little expensive, so we may be looking for a new housekeeping service after the holidays. We shall seeeeeeee.

$1 and $2 bills are the only ones that have the seal with an alphabet letter representing where it was printed. A-L are the only letters. Every bill used to have those letters. So far I’ve found a $20 and now a $50 with a letter. I save the $1 based on mint location to fund challenges…I call them my Alpha Bucks Challenge and currently saving the As for my youngest grandson, the La for my oldest grandson and the Cs for my daughter and SIL. Great geography lesson for kids, too! 🥰🤗
