I’ve said this before, “You play to play the game.” You don’t just play it to fight in a “war” that has nothing to do with a video game that was designed to have a good time. That being said, I agree with your points, Jenn. The sheer irony of a group of people who get upset over religious posts is that they are no better than their discriminators. They became the very thing they hated most. Everyone deserves the right to choose what they follow and believe in, but they shouldn’t used that privilege for an excuse to do evil. This is a common law for every one. If they want to keep fighting about this, then take it outside of Splatoon. We don’t need to see that crap here and to remind us.

This is a very interesting take and very ture. However, in my experience, being bisexual is not enough for the LGBT community, because they say we are not gay enough. Whatever the hell that means. the LGBT community is very picky at what type of people it wants in their group that they will even through a fit at people that fit their group's description. It's ironic that there are more straight people who are more accepting for bisexuals then a community that has the letter B for bisexual in their community's name. It's the reason why I, as a bisexual, hate the LGBT community. This is why I always say "I support the people, not the community" because they have become two totally different things.

Also I agree for the LGBTQ comment. For a community that seems very welcoming at first, it is hellbent on keeping heterosexuals out of the game.

For me, part of the reason I don't like the posts on religion is that for one, I'm a atheist that was raised as a christan. So it just seems like another thing to shove down my throat because Christianity was something that was forced onto me that I didn't believe. And the other... I just wanna play the game to escape my reality. I don't want to hop into Splatoon and be reminded of terrible events or different topics that remind me that the real world exists. I'm playing to escape and putting politics, religion, or anything that's majorly personal on events are just uncomfortable for that reason. I end up just turning off the posts whenever I see them, or a similar pattern, but again- I want people to keep that stuff outside of the game.
