Well thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate that. The cases I use are these amzn.to/3PSwCf9 They are actually t hand jerseys on the wall but work very well and are like 50 or 60 bucks each. basically the price of renting for two shows. they are light and easy to clean. You can fit 7 slabs or 7 mags across (if thinking of it vertical) without overlapping and 6 rows of that so you can actually get 40-60 cards in each case easily. Now, they do chip from time to time but I use a black expo and fill it in. You cannot even tell. (I may be trying out some much more expensive cases soon just to check). I think they are a great buy and a great step 1 with almost no investment. Sorry about the rant.

It is not possible to have a receipt for each sale, but taking pictures is good proof and spreadsheets to track what you buy, associated costs like grading, sale prices. Supply costs, etc. Hope that helps

Ok thanks for help on the 3rd question, but for the first 2 questions, do you report income tax on these sales shown in camera at the appropriate amount included in your annual income tax every year since you have been doing this, and do you collect the appropriate sales tax for each sale shown given in this video?

I comply with legal requirements and will be on this upcoming years taxes

Thanks for the thought-out comment. I appreciate that. I did not name names as I did not want to take any chances. The intention of the video was me basically talking out loud about what I am going to do. I know there were good things about the Con that people liked. Heck I even mentioned some of the influencer choices they made were very good. I never implied a moral superiority to you or anyone else. I even said we all have lines we cross and lines we won’t. Like I said, it was me trying to figure out my way forward in this. I also never stated I would get out of sports cards. I was thinking out loud about how I want to operate in the hobby. Any choice I finally make, as you eluded to and I even said in the video, has no impact on anyone or anything else that happens in this hobby nor would it ever intend to. I am just a guy. Nothing more, nothing less than that trying to raise his kids the best way he can. But thanks for again for stopping by.

That is true. The setups are a lot nicer from a corporate perspective but that cost is not coming from the show (at least I would not think so). It is ironic that the shows pay teh signers to come in (I am pretty sure) and then you still have to sell a kidney to get an auto. I guess it is supply and demand right? Keep raising prices until people stop coming. then lower them again. Great point.

Not sure what my opinion on an presidential candidate (any of them) directly correlates but I do talk with my kids about what is going on in the world. I feel it is important for them to know and be aware. Oh and make no mistake, my kids are intimately aware of wax prices, odds, the manufacturors etc. I would suspect the overprinting in the 90s is close to the same as today just divided over more releases but I have not done a deep dive on that.

@@SportsCardCollectorChronicles the president or ceo is diff but you just cant avoid companies who work with someone who’s morals are questionable or have “pending lawsuits”. Just seems a little ridiculous. If you take your kids to Disney, for example, i guarantee you there is someone in that company (from the security staff to the advertising agents) you dont agree with morally what they’ve done or been “accused of”. And My comment about the card companies proves you have been supporting crooked companies but my point is thats ok if you’re getting something out of it.

I am not saying I neccessarily disagree wholeheartedly with anything you said. I am merely trying to decide if that is something I want to be a part of since it is an elective choice. I do agree with you that there are definitely differently moral structures in a lot of places I deal with. I would not dispute that. I am just trying to figure out how, to what level, or if I want to be involved since it is elective. I really appreciate your response. You make some really good points.
