Card changing just because a proposal passes is the biggest mistake they have ever made. No card should ever be changed after being released. It destroys any type of investment in cards.

1 extra month of CL in modern is not ideal but still better than I expected at this point. Anything that helps even recoup just 0,1% of what we paid for that set is good news.

Man, it's really tough that they still can't deliver properly... They've been failing to deliver for years, and I'm so sad that I believed in the team too often and ended up deep in the red. My last straw is land, but after several years of disappointment, I don't see much chance of success there either. Cashing out doesn't make sense when you're already over 90% down. I kept DCAing into SPS or cards and stuff, but all I see is everything losing value. Well, I guess it's a learning experience.

Don't like this idea at all. While I can understand some logic for making an argument like this. The result would be just pushing a lot a long-time players out of the ecosystem for good due to broken confidence. This project needs stability and more players. There are plenty other ways to get rid DEC. Major changes like that, just anger people and make them less likely to participate and buy-in. Although some major changes might be necessary from time to time, the less we have the better.

My main goal for 2025 is to hopefully sell some of my stuff at less of a loss. I don't think I'll exit completely, but I will forever be kicking myself for not taking anything out in 2021 and riding it all the way back down. Your goals seem pretty good, except I think the land one might be pretty lofty without putting in some significant outside money. To buy the plots and come up with the million DEC to work them will take a lot longer than a year if you're only recycling land earnings. That's just my opinion, though. I can't say for sure.

2 biggest questions for me are: 1) How is the team going to handle DAO proposals for changing printed cards? Are they going to accept any that pass, no matter what? Was Nid a one time thing, a very special circumstance that they would have accepted the proposal but they wouldn't do it for other cards? It's very important for me and many others because, if it wasn't a very unique case, why should I buy any card and risk it getting nerfed? 2) How is the team planning to have better testing so that CA and all future sets, promos and rewards are better balanced, so that people aren't asking for nerfs and buffs?

Because it's a good game I was hoping and coping until December. By now I have sold most of my Splinterlands assets. After that only time I really feel enthusiastic about the game is the end of season when I get to open glint loot boxes and buy some gladiator packs. Without a bot my account would be abandoned like an old rusting car in the forest. And I still have plenty of staked SPS in case I'm totally wrong. It just doesn't look like I am wrong.

I got two of my friends to sign up through the ambassador program, and both bought spell books. I think incentivizing word of mouth could be huge for the game. My friends signed up halfway through the season and I got 2004 glint from ambassador rewards. It was completely worth it for me to advocate for our game.

I got a chuckle every time I got the popup that said "don't miss out!" To me, these things were just way too dang expensive. The team and some of the whales seem very stubborn about this issue and it'll probably never change, but I still think selling more copies as lower / reasonable prices would've worked out better. I wish they'd at least TRY it.

I have been playing a lot more modern / manual battles myself. It's easier to win and I get more rewards. The bots don't seem to be doing as well anymore.

Low SPS don't encourage players to convert but a high SPS would encourage more players to participate. A higher participation is more SPS to be burn than a few participation that don't want to burn SPS. SPS going lower is going dead.

we could hype and hope all we want but the reality is once chaos Legion rotates out it is gonna be extremely difficult to play in modern format due to the fact that you wont have many available rebellion cards, let alone have the new conclave Akana for rent. so the real question is who is gonna b left playing? & is Splinterlands runway gonna be cut short?
