I'm not hugely into comparing this franchise to the Red Riding Hood, minotaur or any other folk tale or tale by another author. Anyone can come up with anything and compare it to anything in the whole wide world (or in this case, universe) provided enough time is spent doing nothing (ie, thinking). Also, yes - I agree - this is not a brilliant Alien movie (the 1979 and the 1986 movies, although done by different directors - but relying on the same art by HR Giger - do a far better job being good Alien movies) - but Romulus IS A GOOD SPACE SHOOTER movie - meaning, even with all the references sprinkled in the movie - including the dead android (and actor, sadly of course) - I don't think this should be considered as truly cannon to the franchise (but it probably will be). BUT. There are a couple of questions in relation to the xenomorph itself - or its babies (wait, other way around!) - the mug-huggers - which this movie makes me ask. So first. When the facehugger is inspected for the first time in the movie - it moves its ... well.. dingus thing - in order to infiltrate into human throat. The movement as displayed by the facehugger - is convulsive, clearly animal-like - and clearly evolutioned over thousands of years - but wait. Who have they been training upon? Because they are clearly ideally suited for f_king human throat - but where have they gotten a human throat to practice on - for all those evolutions or generations? The species haven't got a place from where they could get this ideal compatibility with the usurped species, no place where the parasite could have developed such instincts. One can argue that they've been "training" and evolving on the engineer species - or other humanoid species throughout the universe, but that somehow still doesn't make sense, seeing how perfectly fit they are to provide human breathing etc. On top of it all - Covenant showed us they were literally DNA-edited or "engineered" by the evil robot android built by Weyland Corp. So how do those instincts make any sense? Question number two. Face huggers go parasite on humans. Humans die in the process giving birth to the xenomorph. Then xenomorphs go around killing humans. See the problem? Why would xenomorphs kill humans - why do they wish bad times for poor Sigourney - if they were born out of human and cannot replicate with all humans dead? This kinda makes sense when you think that - again, xenos were "created" by the evil robot who wanted all human race extinct (as he said himself in Covenant) - but it still somehow doesn't make sense. Also - some sources suggest the evil robot didn't actually "create" xenos - just "improved" them after getting hold of the black powder goo - so xenos (or similar creatures) did run around before that - killing ENGINEERS? - Which they had to use for reproduction somehow, still? Doesn't make much sense. Third question: throughout the entire franchise, mostly robots - but also Weyland Corp in general - want to preserve the xenos. Literally the most shocking moment of the 1979 movie. Crew expendable. BUT WHY? Yes, to create some super soldier or to study them - but really? Like Columbus would have wanted to collect the most evil indian chief to bring it back to Europe... to study? (no offence, indian chiefs). If you have created a gazillion dollar - multiplanetary, no less - company - you must be smart. Like extremely smart. And if you're extremely smart - you probably realise that trying to bring a deadly organism which just happens to shred your marines in seconds - back to earth (or to the company itself) - is probably not a good idea. So this affection within Weyland to always "care for the xeno" doesn't make much sense. You're just going to die once you get it. That's it. No supersoldier, no scientific relevations. Either way - thanks for the video and sorry for the novel - from Latvia.

Thanks for the help. I just bought this on xbox series x and I have no idea what I am doing. Sort of getting frustrated. I'm just used to action rpgs and 1st/3rd person shooters and stuff like that. I'm trying to work my way through yourube guides but they are all on PC. Using a mouse and keyboard seems more natural for a game like this.

You nailed it. Of course you tried to over simplify to make your point but I think you got it right. Definitely thats a major difference between D4 and the others Diablos that many people seem to have forgotten but it is exactly what makes all the difference in the gaming experience.

Many statistical oversights here. 1. You never accounted for days from launch and time locking the ratings metric. 2. You never accounted for review bombing events that happened. Specifically for RoP. Ideally you shouldn't be relying on a regular mean for such things and should be resorting to some form of scaling or usage of trimmed means (or maybe go to medians/percentiles). 3. Movies are fine to compare with movies, but shows must be compared on an episode by episode basis, while keeping the above concerns in mind. 4. Ratings are not weighted with viewership numbers or reviewer counts. 5. No rating population distribution or histograms either. There are many sources out there that would very much diverge from your graphs here (mostly graphs cus there's no analysis behind this besides the shape moving down between different sites). Anyone could Google this and find the same numbers. The details matter. For example: how is that in the beginning of RoP, there was low viewership but a ridiculously higher reviewer count compared to HotD which had high viewership but lower reviewer count? (Immediate sign of spam or review bombing).

Maybe i'm overthinking this...but don't cities get ranked all the time based on population, etc. Wouldn't it then be ordinal data? Can both examples be placed under nominal data and ordinal and represent their meanings all the same?
