What hidden energy lies beneath the woods? The dense, near impenetrable forest that cloaks the hillsides above the slate mining village of Tan y Chwarel conceals many secrets. Taliesin and his friends encounter more than they bargain for as they start to explore deeper into the world of the forest. Once started, they are compelled to go on, uncovering forgotten mysteries about the mines- and themselves. The story develops slowly in twists and turns towards a chilling, surprising conclusion.
