To think so many years later she says she was literally on the edge of giving up her career permanently when she got the part in the hit series This Is Us.

This was such a turnaround period in her career. She transitioned from pop princess to singer/songwriter and making her own songs and telling her own authentic stories. The Wild Hope album was a joy to discover in my early 20's.

So beautiful, this song is so understated and lovely, it reminds me of Joni Mitchell in it's construction. I love it, it's one of my favourite songs...I'd never heard her sing it live and she did it so beautifully. She is a treasure. "Extraordinary" indeed!
