I have this toaster. Don’t pay full price for it. While it works as it should and the toaster does look great on a kitchen bench, it has a flaw in the fact that when the toast pops up it’s difficult to get the slices of toast out of the toaster as it does not pop up high enough.

First of all, you gotta wash the rice before adding water. Secondly, you NEVER scrape with a metal spoon, it damages the coating! The unit probably comes with a plastic spoon too…

I remember giving a unit like this one (either the exact same model or one very similar) to my grandmother for a Christmas present back in the late 1960s or early 1970s. I recall it was advertised mainly for cooking thin meat items such as bacon. She used it only once or twice -- it was too hard to clean, and it's easier to use a skillet for frying something. It sat in a cupboard for many years, until I either threw it out or donated it.

Hmmmm Yes will have to comment. First off I don't think the manual was read as it is not advisable to use metal tongs. A light coat of butter on the outside of the bread would have browned the sandwich to a nice colour. The amount of bacon looked to be a bit excessive. Sure it tasted nice but I would have put a bit of source on mine just a mater of taste.
