Shitfields.....LITERALLY no one there has any common sense let alone road sense

I worked as a draughtsman in the area years ago. I always felt enclosed or trapped by the confines of space and buildings becoming depressed by the surroundings. It left me feeling black and empty inside, seeing it all over again has filled me with that same sense of hollow dread. I left Leicester and the UK in 1981and went to live in Scandinavia and decided never to return. Life is too short to waste, you only go round once. Leicester, a great place to come from and never return to.

At the end of the video turned right at Trafalgar warehouse into Evington street.My father bought a house no 45 in 1963. The house was demolished but many happy days going to Meadway school on St Stephens Rd. I am 70 now but they were good times ❤
