    • @kiswahilikitukuzwe2547
      @kiswahilikitukuzwe2547 6 лет назад

      Diana Cassinelli True! Being black is not an insult, and being African is not an insult either! Now, what is the difference between the terms "Afro" or "African" or even black in this context? It basically refers to the same thing here; there is no need to split hair on this!! By the way, black people in the United States are no longer "officially" referred to as black Americans; they are today officially known as "African-Americans". Get that through your thick skull, twat. And it is not because they are denying the blackness of their skin as you are deluded to think. It is because they now identified more with their culture and their land of origin (Africa) and their African brothers and sisters who still live in Africa today. The term "black" or "negro" refers only to color as opposed to ancestry and culture. There are black people in India and other parts of Asia today who are not of African ancestry per se (even though we all know the entire human race has its ancestry in Africa but that is a discussion for another day). Therefore, it does not matter whether you may refer to our black brothers and sisters in the United States as black Americans or Afro Americans. Just know that they are proud to be officially called African-Americans or Afro-Americans for the reasons I have given above. Even the Bolivian black people can in fact refer to themselves as black Americans or African-Americans or Afro-Americans (or simply Africans; if they chose to) because they are people of African ancestry who now belong to the continent of South America; just as the black people of the continent of North America refer to themselves in those same terms. And by the way, the United States is part of the continent of North America... just to let you know 😌 😌😌 Coming from a proud African. Peace, out!

    Pursing to reclaim one's image after being brainwash throughout chattel slavery and now by electronic media is and still a major task for people of African ancestry in the West. First your unblemished skin and shape is your beauty. How the hell your mind have to have second thoughts on what your beauty is, if that does not mean you are totally wrapped up in another and especially your oppressors psychology. The way they look at life and the way they create standards to follow have become apart of your being without you realizing that until hey! you're among their kind and realized you're different. Accept your difference, that is beautiful, accept your being and your kind and don't be deter one bit because you're aware of that over and above 100%! that you belong to the Creator whose standards regarding creation is totally different from mankind. Hope in Bolivia 2018 there are significant changes but those changes can only come about your change of direction. The fight continue so never let up on the fight for equal rights and justice!

    • @overviewthem
      @overviewthem 6 лет назад

      Ekia Media, the problem is waiting to be accepted externally when the skills are already there to trade with among the group before extending as a common market outwards. Our people has the resourcefulness to do so. As you mentioned "We used to peacefully trade with the world." Therefore the genius still exist to build on. Getting back to your roots and garnering the knowledge and building on it from there is keystone alongside using newer and recent technologies. It is believing "I can" "You can" and "We can" in any challenges presented. Our people are great survivors and no doubt they will if they believe in themselves.One love.

    • @overviewthem
      @overviewthem 6 лет назад

      Ekia Media, well said. There is so much work to be done spreading the message among the elders and the young. The resilience of the heart to love and be committed to the end, must be the order, as the fight continue to make our people aware of their circumstances through artful communication (music, social media, media, etc.). The demand for reparation is a must. But as you may be aware the powers involved are very strategical in influencing a large percentage of our people to believe that, that is not necessary; at this time. Therefore the task to bring awareness among our people must also be strategically done using every means of communication necessary. One love, and thanks for shedding your light of the matter. 👍👍👍
