Made it to the field today for a short flight. Used some lighter battery’s and felt good.

S-92 flight after some adjustments. Flew for about 8 minutes used 5006 ma from the 10K ma battery’s. Max amp draw was 56 amps but average draw was 34 amps. ESC temp 128° after the 8 minute flight. Power out 92%. Max watts was around 2400 but avg 1350. Head speed is 800Nr and has great tail rotor authority. Adjusted head gain but from 75 to 80 which made a huge difference. This is the first spool up of my scratch built Sikorsky S-92. It has taken a year and a half to get the this point. We are getting close to a maiden flight however still have some work to finish up before that big day. B.

Sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk. My scratch built Sikorsky S-67. This model is 1/10 scale and measures 75" in length and weighs in at 23 lbs ready to fly. It uses custom mechanics with a Scorpion HK 4540-400KV motor operating on 44.4V. I can be 6 minutes of flight time with a reserve on 1 minute. It uses Jeti electronics a Bavarian Demon Axon for the stab system and a Castle 160 ESC.

Another video from today. Very happy with the way it fly's with wings installed. I will continue flying with the slave wings until the final wings with speed brakes are installed. That is going to look pretty cool. UIH, B

First flight with wings. No noticeable flight characteristic differences. It has had a slight touch or purposing without the wings and stayed the same with the wings. Now I can make the Axon adjustments to reduce that and we will be good to go. Flying real nice. B

love it, but have you thought of using helical gears for noise reduction?
The main gear and pinion are helical gears. There is a Vario clutch installed that drives the lay shaft gear and one way bearing hub. I am not aware of a clutch assembly that is off the shelf that uses a helical cut gear. These mechanics in general are pretty quiet but certainly helical gears would help.

Very nice! My dad was a crew chief for Sikorsky, and travelled all over the US with this helicopter and unfortunately was in England on that fateful day! You should be proud of this!

Good Friend of mine, Byron Graham, was the Chief test pilot and flew this machine, when I worked at Sikorsky Aircraft. That was a phenomenal aircraft!

That thing is so beautiful. I dear say even more purdee than pictures of the real thing! I just wish it had the gun turrent and rocket pods attached. I also wish we could have seen it in desert camouflage. That's how the real deal was painted up when it went on its world marketing tour.

That’s the 11th flight on heli, those are Mblades, the fuse is Rotorgeorge, new helifactory rotor head, did a few updates and this was just test flight today, all worked out..

Mr. Wales, I have been looking at your website and some of your scale builds. I would really love to know the manufacture of your Sea King. I can't decide which one I like better. The Sea King or the sprite but one thing is for sure. You sir have an amazing talent. Tow very amazing aircraft builds.
