Have you taken apart one of those batteries? There's a tiny lipo in there that's less than half the the size of the case. I squeezed a Zee 2200mah 120C in the case and this thing turned into a monster!

Ugh!!! Just get to the point...

This is purely my opinion and just like butt holes everyone has one and not to insult. The double sided tape is there for two reasons, a, to lessen the chances of putting to much stress on the four ecs mounting brackets. B, is also designed to be used to dampen impact and shock when landing. As for cutting the receiver and servo box in half it now means when jumping and landing you now only have two screws to hold the servo in place. And when steering the heavy wheels and tires against the stiff servo saver will be placing a lot of pressure on the two screws that are holding the servo and half box to the chassis.

When you bash hard you need the double sided tape it's clear your not into bashing hard cool wheels
