Why didnt you remove the only 2 bolts first, and remove the EGR motor piece, then remove the 4 bolts and remove the EGR body it self? 🤔

Actually, there is an access hole in the metal 'beam' right above the T15 screw that you can easily remove using a short extension and a 1/4" rachet. Just feel for the access hole and rip a small hole through the foam padding.

What a pain. I put a bit into a ratcheting wrench and hot glued it in. That got the screw out

That is the only way to do it. I’ve seen videos with people beating on it to get it loose.

Why you replacement?

Would have been helpful if showed how you took headlight switch out.

This procedure destroys the EGR valve. A new one cost $135 or more.

The hardest damn thing for us to figure out is the tool to use and how to get it out and you did not take the time to even really explain the tool or show us how to get it out.

Just unplug it , why replace it.

How was the low profile too tall if that flexible screwdriver wasn't? I'm here now with an even lower profile tool, I can't imagine how you got that longer one in there, hope to hear from you
