@@petermoran6335 not yet I’m afraid. It was booked in 6months ago to go in this week and the dealer cancelled our booking last week and no weld it to the new year! 🥲 I’m definitely thinking of doing a vlog on this matter but I hate doing the negative stuff.

Good luck. Tbh, I have little faith that mine can be solved. The shape of the top of the locker door coupled with the shape of the main body shell when they "join" , means there is not a good pressure on the rubber seal. I have filmed from inside when closing and there is a clear gap through which the water flows !! Back and fore to the dealers/ Swift is so much of a pain as you know...I should push it but sometimes life is too short ! If it was a leak into the habitation part of the caravan I would...but where it is, a sort of external leak, I'm just going to live with it, and put only plastic items there.

Anglesey has been on our to do list for the last 3 years but still not made it across. Hopefully next year. I didn’t purchase any so called protection package for the van as I don’t believe they the products are ever applied correctly by the dealers. If you look at my earlier videos you’ll see I’m a very keen vehicle detailer. I applied protection to the van myself and it costs next to nothing just a bit of time preparing and then applying quality products (not expensive) It is literally all about the preparation and then having a quality product to protect the finish. Anyone can do it but it it takes time.

It’s not great times for us as you know yourself but I know Mum would want us to carry on living our best lives. I hope one day I gain the Strength of Wisdom and selflessness my Mum had. We are going to spend Winter reflecting for sure and we we move on. Thank you again. It means a lot to know others understand 🙏🏻

Mum passed away on her way home hence the vlog not going up on its regular slot. But thank you any way. Mums funeral is Wednesday so hopefully things will get a little easier and a new normal can get us back in the mood. 👍🏻

@@simbabike1 They are a brilliant bit of kit. The forema site we had last year wasn’t a patch on the residence. We are coastal as you can see and the wind really whips up. The frame never moved. However for some reason the front corner gets hammered possibly a vortex type thing, so that section gets hammered and all the plastic tags that hold the ladders on snapped.

No haven’t had that ours and the ladders are find. Did yours come down ok.

Sometimes I feel I’m the only one who’s a little obsessive about looking after (keeping clean) our investments. 🤣 I’ve found a lot of confidence with the Autobrite direct range. Magiseal is just one of their fantastic products. Yes I’ve been told on a few occasions I need to get a phone muff to reduce wind noise. I have purchased a Bluetooth microphone which I need to get to grips with and hopefully that will help with sound clarity. Thank you again for commenting and subscribing

@@paulh7259 unfortunately the door is an ongoing issue with our van. Its booked in in November for this and other issues to be resolved. Hopefully the last time we have to return to the dealer.

@@Riccicaravanadventures Yes but on a Basecamp. Not sure there will be much the dealer can do for me,it’s a bonded door frame and no adjustment on the door.

@@paulh7259 have you tried the dealer ? Should be covered on warranty surely!

@@Riccicaravanadventures Think I’d rather live with the little bit of plastic removed from the striker than have a door frame replaced, will have a chat with the dealer workshop.

Tony is an absolute legend. He’s even better in real life. We may well go back to touring as we’ve just worked out that we are paying almost £500pm for the privilege plus the sight we are on now want us to pay for recycling separately at an additional £200.

I spoke to her yesterday and she sounded more like my Mum 🙏🏻 The next challenge will be trying to get her home. 🥲 Ha ha I didn’t notice the doll but I guess that was little legs being cheeky as ever. She acts shy but she isn’t really. 🤣 Let’s hope Tony is fit enough to jump on and this blinking weather gets back to warm sunshine and not rain ! We’ve hardly done any filming this weekend because the weather has kept us inside.

@@andrewwelsh4968 we tend to put our awning up end of May and it comes down end of August normally. We are there mostly every other weekend through spring then every weekend in the Summer.

Hi, I just used the raw plugs that came with the mount. Just be careful when you drill to only go through the media wall board. Plus always make sure you measure multiple times to be sure it’s exactly where it needs to be. I used a small drill for pilot hole. Good luck. The TV looks a lot better mounted and much safer if there’s kids in the caravan !

That’s how it started anyway. Sometimes the editing side gets a bit tedious and then seeing some of the vlogs not seeming to do well does have a motivational impact. I know someone who still owns and runs an 88ish gtx think it’s the 580. Still going strong.

Hi thanks for watching. We have had the bottles a while now. Normally we have had no issues. Although we were there a week last time so we have inadvertently finished the bottle off without realising it but will definitely be monitoring it now. The bottles pay for theirselves in the first few months for us. We won’t go back to calor now.

Hi Ryan thank you for watching and also for the heads up. I will check the pigtail. Although I do always turn the gas off when not at the van. Plus I always check for leaks after I turn it on every time ! Last summer we lost half a bottle after Becks woke me up in the middle of the night saying she could smell gas. I said don’t be silly. In the end she insisted I went to check the locker. Once I got out the caravan I could hear the bottle hissing. Now I’d only filled the bottle the previous day and the pigtail was tight. The locked wasn’t locked and to this day we don’t know if someone had tampered with the gas or tried to steal the bottle. We were lucky as if the boiler had fired up we probably wouldn’t be here to tell the story as the gas took ages to clear outside as there was no wind for a change.

Thank you Sheila, tbh the girls aren’t too bad I’ve been a bit grumpy as I’ve been in agony with one of my teeth. The weather forecast was for rain all weekend at the fan and as you can see apart from some light rain first thing Saturday it was quite nice. Anya has a Dance show this weekend so unfortunately there won’t be a caravan vlog as we will be at home.

Hi I’ve never used polar blast but it will do a similar job of breaking down the dirt before you rinse then start the contact wash. Don’t forget if using a pressure washer to keep it well away from the seals and joints.

It’s more of a get the kids out of the van thing with all their colouring and crafting 🤣

Yes he wasn’t there when we went past. I think there’s some bye law where they are restricted on how long they stay.
