A mini guide about TripleS (read this full):- TripleS is a 5th gen kpop girl group formed under Modhaus entertainment and debuted in 2023. They have a total of 24 members in the group (currently the most number of members a kpop girl group have now) where each of the members were revealed through teasers and in the form of Signal episodes (their daily life vlogs) during their pre-debut phase. These members will rotate in various subunits of the group that were created through the choice of 'WAV' (their fandom). The concept of TripleS group is that their fans get to vote for the group's activities such as deciding the subunits (called Dimensions) , deciding the songs for their upcoming comebacks etc.. This voting process called 'Gravity' is done through a mobile app 'COSMO' created by Modhaus. Each Gravity takes place in order to form new Dimensions and the group members will participate in each of the Dimensions based on the maximum no. of votes gained for each member. Each of the TripleS members were represented with codename/nickname 'S' combined with their number such as S1,S2....S24. These Dimensions were decided through Gravity and a certain no. of members will participate in it. After releasing few songs, these Dimensions will be disbanded and the next Dimension will be created with a new set of members through another Gravity. This process is endless ie, there will be more Dimensions created through the coming Gravities. So far, we have the following Dimensions in TripleS group:- 1) Acid Angels from Asia => 4 member unit (S2,S5,S7,S8) with an mv 'Generation' 2) Krystal Eyes => 4 member unit (S1,S3,S4,S6) with mvs 'Cherry Talk' & 'Touch+' 3) Lovelution => 8 member unit (S1,S2,S8,S9,S10,S13,S14,S15) with an mv 'Girls Capitalism'. 4) Evolution => 8 member unit (S3,S4,S5,S6,S7,S11,S12,S16) with an mv 'Invincible'. 5) NXT => 4 member unit (S17,S18,S19,S20) with a performance mv 'Just Do It'. 6) Aria => 5 member unit (S3,S4,S9,S10,S13) with an mv 'Door'. 7) Glow => 4 member unit (S21,S22,S23,S24) with an mv 'Inner Dance'. 8) Visionary Vision => 12 member unit (S2,S5,S7,S8,S9,S11,S12,S13,S14,S15,S17,S24) that you guys reacted now with an mv 'Hit The Floor'. 9) Hatchi => 8 member japanese unit(S3,S4,S5,S6,S11,S16,S20,S21) currently released a mv single 'Untitled'. Also, all of the members during that period of time had combined to make an album. The following were those albums along with their title tracks:- 1) ASSEMBLE => OT10 album released in 2023 with title track 'Rising'. An OT16 performance mv of this song was released after they had won the MAMA award (a major music award show in Korea) for 'Rookie of the Year 2023'. 2) ASSEMBLE24 => OT24 (the complete group) album released currently with title track 'Girls Never Die'. This was actually another storyline that you had to watch “bad news” music video before this one (Nobody knows m/v) because this was an explanation of the “bad news” music video and if you were confused at the ending then that was Natty chasing and kinda beating down somebody that was videotaping her shoving that guy out the window and here’s the guy that caught her 3:28 And also they are not secret agents or anything like that. Like what they are doing is trying to get revenge on that girl bully that was in Haneul class that’s the daughter of that evil rich guy so they sneaked in the party, stole his kisses and found his secret documents to expose him to get back at the girl bully. And me saying all this is not an spoiler because I’m basically explaining/describing what happened and bad news you were probably going to be confused anyway because of how the girls were presented and why they were doing certain things but you just the other story of it so you would get the gist of it.

I knew you were going to like it and yes it was an absolute BANGER that it was almost as popular and almost had just as many views as their debut song as a group which is crazy. Fun Fact: Natty actually did push that old man and hurt but by accident in that scene😂😂😂

the 'guy' doing the adlibs is not random guy its actually pharell williams... he made the original song that this song samples... but he redid his adlibs for the newjeans version to fit in with this song

I also want to add seperately that i think this video is also a metaphor of how they feel 'alienated' within their own company (being treated different by those around them.. like they are aliens to them) the wish of them wanting to escape the planet (hybe) to another one and be free... the subliminal messages are about grass is greener if you water it which could be alluding to themselves as they have said they feel the company is trying to take them into a musical direction they dont want to go in.. they want to grow naturally themselves as artists... and constant messages about the future is brighter.. future is brighter (on the different planet they escape too which skips to part x..i.e the future) and the grass is greener on the other side... also the lyrics... 'i dont know what we've done, i don't want to go back, don't know what weve been sold'... could be refferring them getting into contract with hybe...

The story in supernatural is that they are all aliens with superpowers..... the bit where haerin and minji run off set after haerin seemingly accidently uses her powers causing everything to shut down is possibly the moment that they got exposed as aliens.. now the humans are after them... so now they need to leave back to their home planet... Hyein is the problem as she doesnt want to leave as shes fallen for the boy... the argument at the start is hanni saying we have to leave right now.. minji argues we 5 are 1 meaning they arent leaving without Hyein. (when she says we are bound to each other i dont think its in a literal sense... more in metaphorical way like.. newjeans arent complete unless all 5 are together) This is why Minji is constantly trying to split the two up... the conversation on the boat between Minji and Hyein seems to convince Hyein to leave with them as after we see bunny hyein holding onto minjis hand as she leads hyein onto their spaceship. Also being aliens i believe is a metaphor for idol life.. Again tapping into para-social aspects thats become a staple for them.... 'idols' are continually under scrutiny from the fans and the slightest mistake (haerin makes the 'mistake' of accidentally revealing her powers to humans) and the netizens (or humans) are attacking them with hate... and also (most) idols cant just jump into a relationship whenever they like as us 'normal' people can.. they have to comply to a certain image and also relationships could lead to a lack of focus in their duties as an idol and extreme situations like leaving the group.. in the video hyein is prepared to leave the group and stay on earth with the boy... again minji we 5 are 1 is not going to let this happen. Its a take on the importance of idol groups staying together and having only each oher to depend and rely on. The we 5 are 1 thing is probably also alluding to them performing as a 4some recently for quite some time while hyein was out.. saying weve been incomplete without her or something along those lines. (depending on when this video shoot was completed of course) Theres something going on with the throwing of the cans as well.. are they beer cans? does the boy have a drinking problem? is that what minji points out to hyein on the boat and hyein sees it for herself.. is that what convinces her to leave him? i think this may be the case but newjeans all being under 21 can't be promoting underage drinking so i think they rather just alluded to it... the official stance on it is he is 'littering' but he does look kind of drunk on the boat. Also Danielle has storm powers so she is manipulating the weather so she can live on earth as a succesful weather girl (theres probably metaphor in there but i havent figred that one out, maybe something to do with how the idols we see on screen can manipulate us into thinking they are something that they really aren't) Theres also an alien invasion where newjeans planet saves earth and timeskips over 40 years.. the bunny looks like the one from Donnie darko which was also about time travel
