Found you on Bluesky on the Kamala Harris page. I still have journals from 6th grade through my mid 20's and I'm 55 now. I stopped but am starting again. I had bought some of those 5-year journals with questions at B&N and they were telling! I just re-found one so I'm doing that again, another 5 year soulfilled journal. I also kept dream journals from the dreams I had overnight. Love it all!
Love it! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Growth is my mindset! After finishing up a degree, I want to use my newfound time and energy to reflect on where I’ve been and where I want to grow.
Right there with you! Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you so much!! ✨✨✨
Hello. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for stopping by! ✨
Thanks for visiting!
I really loved this spiral planner, but ultimately, I'm committed to using a discbound system! How about you? Do you love spiral planners? Let me know and thanks for dropping by! 🥰
Hello! Thanks for dropping by. Full video is here: ruclips.net/video/QhN7eNSCUU8/видео.html
Hi Ebony, fellow academic who follows you on Bluesky. I reluctantly stopped using pencils all the time in grad school, because I kept finding when I'd go back to look at my notes months/years later that my writing was faded and smeared. That was with a 0.7mm mechanical pencil, probably very similar to what you showed initially. I do still enjoy using pencils, but not, as you said, for anything I expect to be archival. I don't know if higher quality graphite has better archival quality. I did recently have a chance to visit the stationery section at a Muji in Tokyo and came home with (among many other things) a 2.0 mm mechanical pencil, which I now use for pattern drafting and modification in my hobby sewing. Love its bold lines. As for your question about planning, I'm a graph or dot-grid person, and I actually mostly prefer blank bound books at the moment, mainly because I have a decent memory for when and where on the page I've written something, so if I date all my entries I can still find things without too much trouble even when they are categorically all mixed up. My first "bullet journal" (I don't know if what I do counts as that, but it's the closest thing) had a plastic stencil in it, which I still use to mark things on the page, especially with all those other pens I got from Muji and elsewhere! I saw your sticker packs on another video and I was very interested in the simpler dots and such... that's a really interesting way to speed up some of my process while still making it useful and pretty. Also I love these showcases and am keeping things in mind for Christmas gifts and my own Christmas list. I do get a little overwhelmed with decision fatigue whenever I try to shop for something like that, though. There are *so* many choices nowadays. I hope it's ok for me to give you a little feedback on your presentation here? I find that your voice audio is soft compared to the music and sound effects you are using. Maybe it would be more accurate to say that the music/effects are loud, since I can still hear you fine without changing my volume! Not a big deal when I'm watching with speakers, but with headphones in the difference was enough to make me flinch the first time the music came on. My only AV training is the self-training from when I had to record my own lectures starting in March 2020, so if I had to guess I'd suggest that maybe you should consider compressing your own audio a bit before normalising it when you process it? Or just make all the effects and music a bit softer? I'm really not sure, but still figured you'd want to know about this one data point. I will keep watching your videos. The authenticity really comes through. :) Your manicure is gorgeous, by the way!
Thanks so much for watching, Brooke! I really love hearing all about colleagues' planning and journaling processes. And visiting pen and stationery shops in Japan is certainly on my bucket list! I hear you about decision fatigue! :) I've certainly been there. Also, I really appreciate the positive constructive feedback! I've purchased a new mic and hope to find a good video editor soon. Again, thank you for following me on this journey! :)
I love your videos❤🎉😮😢😅😊 your videos are so nice. looking forward to more.
Thank you so much! I hope to post more soon (including Shorts!)
Thank you for dropping by! Tell me: What's your planning journey been like? Do you use Happy Planner or another system? Are you one of those fabulous people who design their own? Let me know & I'll explore more in future videos...

Came on RUclips to listen to music; Watched, and enjoyed, a video about journaling, that I feel like I want to get into now. Ha. Funny how that happens. Great stuff. Thanks!
Thank you so much for dropping by! Wishing you peace in 2025. :)
Blackwing pencils are the best
I agree! Thanks for watching!
I love that they give you a guide to the graphite in the pencil. It's the small details that really make the product pop.
I do too! The guides and details are very nice. The 602 is my fave!
I was able to grab a Midori 3 year diary before they seemed sold out everywhere, and am looking forward to starting it tomorrow!
That sounds great! I'll check it out!
I tend to keep them for ... oh, a week or two... I keep finding them when I clean up... but I still do it :)
Same here! Thanks for stopping by!
Love this! I’m a huge fan of Paperblanks journals. I stock up when they’re 70% off during the week of Thanksgiving.
What a great idea! Thanks!
Your voice is so soothing! I never considered journaling before coming across your video. I will definitely consider this.
Thank you so much! ✨ Happy New Year!
I’ve kept journals for decades now, but rarely manage to write every day. My entries are more sporadic than that, despite my intentions. And so often they amount to nothing much more than what I cooked/baked that day, what silly show my husband and son and I watched together, what crazy thing the cats did. I used to feel bad that I don’t record something more momentous, or profound. Then I thought about the fact that one of the things I discovered about my grandma after she died was that she’d also kept sporadic journals, a few entries here, a few there, starting when she was just a girl 100 years ago now. Reading those little scribbles of hers, from her youth through her extreme old age, so many passages amounting to little more than the sort of things I write in my own journals, really gave me a lot of joy and reinforced the love and connection I’d treasured with her. It opened my eyes to the fact that even my own “boring” meanderings could have some meaning and worth to someone, including to myself.❤ I’ve never seen these sorts of journals, the “One line a day” kind. This video of yours inspired me to get one for myself! I look forward to using it. Thank you for sharing this!❤ I’m so glad you decided to start your channel, and that you mentioned it in Bluesky. I’m excited to follow you.
Loved learning more about your journaling practices! Thanks so much for the follow!
@ It’s very much my pleasure!
Trying to get a journal going to have a record of my thoughts to leave for my grandchildren when they are old enough to digest real life insights. I think this will help me get started. Thanks for the post...a fellow butterfly, fluttering by...
Thank you and Happy New Year to you and yours!
Looking forward to following you!❤
Welcome aboard!
