Prachtige klassieke voertuigen!
Very impressive. Would love to learn more about FPGA coding
3:24 innså nettopp at dette er porten Ahre Ketil bryter seg gjennom i førstegangstjenesten og ender opp i Russland med uhell XD
No idea who Ahre Ketil is, but I know of some Dutch guys that crossed the Finnish-Russian border that got into serious trouble (and that was before the Ukraine war)
I was in Norway close to there recently. I heard a Norwegian guy shout, "Hey Russians. May ten thousand devils take you to the bridge." What does that mean?😈
It probably means that the Norwegian guy didn't like the Russians :-)
Cooler Sound 😃😁
Yes really good. Please continue
Russia is cancer , world's dump , always was , always be.
2:57 They mixed up the word "wenden" (to contact) with "werden"(to become) in the German version. It says "You need to become the Police or ... for more information".😅😅
Oh yeah, never noticed that 🙂
I visited the music album of your soundtrack here. So AWESOME. Thankful to you Erwin
Wow! Norway is such a great country and very active in boarder patrols with advance equipment and transport machines following the standard of western culture such as NATO and EU. Hope oneday i can pay a tourist visit here. But what struck me most is the sound track attached to this video. So amazing to hear and very enigmatic. I loved it so much. Two thumbs up for this channel.
My god this framerate.... I bought amiga 500 and run this game what the... I forgot how badly it runs on a500 :)
Time to build a Berlin wall over your borders. Tank traps and drone's tanks and soldiers and helicopters and self-propelled guns. This is serious consequences if not properly defended.
Is there a vlog entry on your site where I can find more info?
No, at the moment it was a quick upload to share it with someone, I didn't expect others to find/reply on it :-)
Looks like an insect with six legs and two claws. Spiders have eight legs.
Very cool, the C64 is the gold standard for retro-audio! If I understand correctly, the CPU fetches the music file (SD card, NVM, SDRAM etc) and then pushes that data to the SID chip.. but how is the data throttled? For example, do you have a FIFO in between that indicates to the CPU when to write, while the read-side of the FIFO pushes it to the SID based on chips timing? Do you have any other project planned for this board? A while back, I tried using the SF2, specifically for a (soft) Risc-V application (instead of the Arm), but had issues from the beginning.. just installing Libero (someone at CNX-Software seemed to also have issues), getting the bundled Modelsim ME to simulate, running the built-in logic analyzer (SmartDebug), etc. Did you have problems with this? I'm hoping to get back to this soon.. there's more options these days, especially lots of open-source tools I'd like to play with.. FuseSoC IP ValentyUSB, Migen/nMigen/MiSoC->LiteX, Bluespec / chisel-lang HDL , SpinalHDL , ReNode, nextpnr, etc, etc!
Hey Ben, the sid-file is just compiled in in this case but it could come from anywhere. The SID-files normally send to the SID in or a timer IRQ or a video-IRQ, both running at about 50Hz (or 60Hz in the US). So the CPU gets an IRQ, sends part of the SID file to the SID and that way it is not only throttled but also a very stable time base (kind of important for music :-) ) The actual "write" is throttled by the bus (not that different from a real C64) the FGPA just doesn't release the bus until it is finished with the SID (which at 1MHz takes about a msec), this might not be the most efficient way (one could add some sort of burst support to the FPGA bus) but it is an easy way and it works. Sadly most FPGA software , no matter if it comes from Xilinx, Microsemi, Latice, all seem to be rather crappy and a pain to get running. In the end the microsemi tools kind of worked OK, the latice tools (I used for the other SID player) were just terrible compared to them. I never tried any of the opensource tools. No real plans for the board, I just use "random" boards (this was one of the cheapest with hard-cpu) for my "random" little projects. - Erwin
Awesome
Man,when you say you heading down south to-Finland!
Norway is part of a military alliance whose declared enemy is Russia. It's called NATO. Just a small reminder...
I think here you could be on E6 running to the North direction, a little bit over the Polar circle , and the train probably Is going to Bodo ,isn't It ?
Yeah a bit after leaving the The Arctic Circle Centre heading north. No idea where that train was going :-)
@@ErwinRol i rode that Road 2 times, i recognised that place, one of the Norvegian landscapes that i love. I have also a souvenir of that place. Some kilometers over this point in the North side there Is a little village ,about 3 or 4 houses, and when i passed over there , apart on the rooad ,there was a dishes and couple set to thougth away, but they looked like new and i took them on my car. It was the 2011 , i am still using them ( some dish and couple broken) specially when i have breakfast , and each time my mind back to the Norway . The best souvenir of that travel in my opinion. The train i think was going probably to Bordo that Is the last station of the North Norway . Thank you for your video that remind me to nice souvenirs.
A few years later I rode it in the other direction after I visited the Lofoten.
Nice video that also shows about your sensitivity . I have been there too , and watching this video i have the rigth feeling , the same sensations i had when i was there. My compliments , greetings from Italy.
The penalties seems harsh, if I understood them correctly. Though, guess that's one way to keep people peaceful, and making sure people don't break the rules.
Where Is exactly the point at the min.2:50 where the Road stops , have you the GPS point about It.? Thank you.
It is pretty close to Elvenes at 69.66524284826278, 30.12017906844257 www.google.com/maps/@69.6657949,30.1161317,1626m/data=!3m1!1e3
@@ErwinRol Thank you !!!
Also interesting how strikingly similar the countryside looks here (1:00 and farther) to Baltic statelets, even worse than Estonia and much like rustic Latvia and Lithuania: bad and degraded roads, full of erosion trenches and potholes, surrounded by huge wastelands Siberia-style, and somewhere the only modern insignia is a large EU-plackard boasting about EU-co-funded road repairs and so on (as you would expect in any 3rd world country getting financial aid from the EU). I was surprised to learn that by EU-standards Baltic statelets actually have Norwegian sort of living standards already so it explains why the EU decides to withdraw "cohesion funding" since this or next year.
2:55 - the future of Irish-British borderline after no-deal-Brexit: "Forbidden to cross, make contact with or insult persons on / throw items over the other side of the fence / minefild". Like they say: "Are you Catholic or Protestant? - I am atheist! - O.K.... are you Catholic Atheist or Protestant Atheist then?"
Hello Holland Sweden calling!
Ik heb daar in 2018 gereden, alleen niet helemaal waar jij hebt gereden. Ben jij op een gegeven moment rechtsaf geslagen bij Tårnet skole ? Richting Korpfjell border station ? Grense Jakobselv wel gezien natuurlijk + het kerkje.

Waw so nice sound
Funny how Russian vegetation looks the same as Norwegian vegetation.

This was splendid. I left a like
Seems odd that just talking to someone across the border is forbidden. Starting a provocation is one thing, but just talking when you are a few feet away? I speak Russian. I would be too tempted to say "Привет!"
nice music.
It's not about the standard of living Russia is not a poor country not because of this just emigrants from other countries easier to get to Scandinavia through Russia, so the borders are controlled zhesche
3:29 - the actual border can be seen behind the gates with the yellow/black Norwegian marker and the red/green Russian marker.
Looks like that used to be a through road... before the Winter War, when that was Finland on the other side?
@@joedellinger9437 It could be .
Has the driver not heard of head lights?
Mooie video. Prachtig landschap. Ben er zelf een paar jaar geleden geweest.
3:23 The gate we can see is at Skafferhullet, the old border crossing, until the crossing was moved to Storskog. On the Russian side is Boris Gleb and a Norwegian/Russian power plant. In the summer of 1965, Boris Gleb Bar was opened there, and Norwegian citizens in the Kirkenes-area could enter without a visa. The border was closed later that year.
very interesting your tale , are you speacking about mining area ?
That Russian side is rightfully Finlands grounds
According to who?
This is true.
Norway has a second Maritime border with Russia. The Norwegian island of Svalbard is near the Russian islands. As a matter of fact, Svalbard has the biggest Russian population in all of Norway.
Is it open now

Haha looks kinda similar to the finnish-russian border passes
Sorry, but you're missing the last 22km from Rustefjelma (where you ended the film) to Tana bru.
The drift-camera was powered from the bike, and everytime the bike was started the camera would shut down. And on several occasions I forgot to restart it :-/ So I am missing more parts of my trip.
gear up folks! War is comming!Or atleast I hope so:)
why tf u hope so?
The most interesting thing is that the border now is kind of "one side border", I mean it doesn't allow us (Russians) to go to a developped western country which is populated with richer and more civilised people) No one guarantees that another Russian doesn't want to steal something from your store)
don't talk nonsense it is closed and for immigrants from the middle East
