Outremer has to be the worlds best catamaran builders. Fast, strong, comfortable and stylish. Nick and. Megan (highly skilled sailors) will be such great advocates for Outremer. Can't wait to watch their videos with all the performance stats.

What fantastic is that you are able see the water while seated inside. You can easily see if you are dragging while at anchor, or any dangers and have a great scenic view of the place you are visiting.

Fascinating interview! To me, the BIGGEST sailing, no selling point of Outremer, other than they have an incredible performance cat, be it the 52, the 55, the X, are the Outremer weeks. I don't know if they're free for new owners. Most likely. But they build confidence in YOUR skills, in the boat, etc. The ladies' week is a must do. Is there a Communications seminar, a round table of couples bringing up their boating issues? Beyond couples chartering a boat to see the difference with their life and couples at home, I'd say, get a similar size boat to the cruising plans. The ex and I managed fine on the 25fter we borrowed: sailed from a mooring, docking, pushing off with one foot. Not so when it's a 15ton 45ft cruising yacht. Surprise!

This is a clever way to make a serious point. It's sad as well; most men don't even realise this issue exists. I'm very much hoping for gender equity in sailing, and things ARE progressing slowly, but right now it's still tough out there. If one is not a cis (and likely white) man, the sailing world can become a much less friendly and more challenging place to be.
