small shark attack
Просмотров 204Год назад
Night dive in the Indian River Inlet last July 4th trip. Sometimes things go bump in the night. This shark hit me in the back of my legs. as I turned around you see him swat at me again. He came at me at the end of the video and I swatted him across the side of the head. Did not see him after that.

Spade fish are very friendly and curious. In this video I am rubbing the side of one and putting him into a trance. This is a night dive in the Indian River Inlet Delaware.

Some video clips from two dives that I did Sept. 1 and the 4th 2019. This is along the south side of the Indian River Inlet Delaware. The first dive was around 11 pm and the second about 1:30 am. I like diving at night in the Inlet. During the day time there are to many people fishing and to much boat traffic. At night it is very peaceful.

This is a dive I did at the Indian River Inlet in Delaware a few years ago. this dive was around 2:00 a.m. and was about an hour long. I enjoy diving at night. There are less people fishing and no boats in the water making it a very relaxing dive.

I mounted a camera on my spear gun for this dive on a ship wreck. See if you can spot the flounder at the beginning of video. How many star fish can you count?

I used to fish this inlet as a kid! Are you ever worried that swimming around with bleeding fish strapped to you will attract sharks?

Used to snorkel the inlet back 40 years ago during the day. You couldn't pay me to do it at night. The place was very eerie in daylight. Regardless I still probably have half a tackle box full of lures and the like from those adventures.

How do you muster up the courage to dive in the inlet this at night? I once freedove in the Ocean City inlet during the day, but it was just so unsettling to walk down the rocks and go into that unfamiliar water. I couldn't go deeper than about 15 feet because I was too timid. I did see a little flounder hanging out in the rocks but I didn't shoot it. I'd explore so many unconventional underwater places if I could just get over my fear.

Thank you for uploading this footage. As an IRI fisherman, it has always been a fascination imagining what is down there. I have thought about doing this, but after seeing 7ft duskies and hooking a shark I backed out. Watch the whole thing mesmerized. This has really opened my eyes.

Whatever floats your boat i guess. I like too see what the hell i"m swimming into. So dark water mixed with at night sure as hell isn't my idea of "FUN"...(g)

That's pretty cool, you could probably make a lot of money on lead weights and jigs, you must have been diving at slack tide because that current moves along pretty good through there.

Do to back surgery I did not dive last summer but the year before I pulled out over 400 pounds of lead. I melt them down and make fish, turtles, and seahorses out of them and give them away to the fishermen.
