The reason why Smash 4 has so many medleys and bad loops is because of Sakurai trying to force a competitive standard of only having two-minute long matches. So every song can't last longer than 2 minutes, making medleys valuable cause many full remixes couldn't fit in two minutes. And so many of them don't loop so they can end the track at the same time the match ends. It's really dumb that Sakurai's weird competitive stipulations completely neutered the music for an entire game.

To really understand how frustrating this is you have to be a pikmin player I think lol. I’m used to this with Nintendo though, they have 99% of the pieces there, but fail to have quality aiming controls and bingo battle online, instantly making pikmin 3 about 1/10th of the fun experience it could be. Which is still fun 😢 and that’s why it’s frustrating

I’m glad you used pikmin as the example of how frustrating it is. I try to play this game at a highish level too and it’s been a never ending search for some way to make the controls not terrible

Yeah I never bothered with gyro aiming in Pikmin. I feel this though with Skyward Sword. Have to reset before I do anything. Combat, aiming, going through menus, choosing dialogue options, etc. Joy cons have awful gyro controls. Thanks for the entertaining video though. It made me laugh.

This game wasn’t super memorable imo, but this segment really stuck with me.

For some reason, I hear the success music stays a TV-tone and keeps it charming, but the failure music makes it sound like rewound and low-pitched and make it sounds like real life
