Hey Alyson! I am finally finally getting to watch this excellent process video of your specTACular cyanotype deck! I hope it's been a success. I know people really love it based on the chatter in Tarot land( YT, FB etc). I also wanna thank you for often sharing your art making process. I find as an artist who developed a practice of making somewhat later in life ( ahem, late 40s and I'm just 60 now!) that I am often looking for how others do their art thing because my ways are malleable and I can get hung up on this or that and feel blocked. So thanks for sharing with generosity and funny-ness. Xxx

It's not the radiator sound that's loud. The music is way too loud over your voice. There's a lot more you can do to insulate your studio without having to remove things. First, take everything off your floor and put a thick plastic tarp down (ie thick shower curtain liners). Then put down thick throw rugs. Your loosing heat through the floor. 2. Cover your door with a blanket/quilt, moving pad or throw rug. Our doors pull on cold from the outside and drain heat from inside. Also staple thick clear plastic over the exterior of our windows. That way you can still let in sunlight. Still put a rolled up towel or clothe across the bottom of your door. Using at keast one of those halogen bulb work lights (on a stand) you see at HD, Lowe's... will actually warm seriously warm up your space while providing pure white light to paint by. These cold weather insulating tricks can increase the temps in your studio enough to keep it comfortable if outside temps weren't below -20... cold😶‍🌫️🥶🥶🥶😵‍💫

I'm Australian, so anything below 20 degrees Celsius is a big NOPE for me :D The wool coats come out immediately at 19! Really like your style.

Your button dilemma set me scrounging through my stash. I inherited the contents of two (plus other partial) sewing rooms and have dozens, possibly hundreds, of buttons. I even have spare Canadian Legion buttons (my Dad) but not one out of all of them matches yours. If I knew the size, I might have something suitable though. I would be tempted to sew that single button on an appropriate backing that could be made into a lapel pin. I look foreword to future videos and wish you to be well soon.

Hiya!! This was kind of like watching 15 minutes before the end of a very special episode of "The A Team", the part where they build a mystery gizmo to use in defeating the bad guys at the end. So does your new table tilt, and if so how does it work? You seemed to know your way around power tools and structural design pretty well. Nice paintings too! I'm messing around with Rebelle, and trying to learn how to paint nature, so I take copious notes whenever I see someone painting impressive foliage.

I came to find out about Earth Child tarot. Saw it first used on Huluppu TV's readings. I found it on Etsy. Love the backs and foiling.

I just finished a 50 day Camino it was awesome.. I learned less is best.. I carried my backpack ... less was. best... it's not a fashion show. enjoy your Camino. toe socks were great for me not one Blister Vaseline was the way to go
