Definitely, and while i personally cry a bit at the power level of Tenpai, that engine also can slot into a deck like this quite well.

Hi! Funnily enough, I've actually seen a few Six Samurai/Primoredial builds out of the OCG, so I guess it wasn't too outlandish of a concept after all. As far as the Tournament idea, those take a lot of my time to pull everything together, and quite frankly, engagement with those past tournaments was very bad. While I enjoyed doing that and seeing naturally who came out on top, I haven't done one in a while for that reason. Every so often I put out a survey, asking folks to chime in, and one of the questions is always what type of content you'd like to see me focus on. Until I see a few more folks wanting to see more CDSS-style videos, I think that might end up staying on the ideas shelf. That said, it's something I want to do, if I can figure out how to get better engagement for it!

Hi there! The Maliss build was one of my initial prototypes, pairing them with a Code Talker engine. I've since gone in a different direction for their first profile, and it's scheduled for later this month. Yeah, definitely awkward haha

Yes, definitely. This one was built ever so long ago and just kept getting pushed back for various reasons and to prioritize other profiles... (I actually built this back before INFO dropped in the OCG). In short, Proto is a great recc.

@@albertrex3813 The Tachyon stuff is an extremely strong engine, that I expect to continue seeing into the future. And the Sarcophagus side is solid, but it leaves a bit of potential on the table not utilizing the Extra Deck. Together, I think it might be solid enough to compete, it's certainly one of the more promising hybrids I've built, and one that I stepped back and was like "oooh, that's fun". If I'm being honest though, I don't interact with Maxx C in the TCG space, so I don't know if the chains of summons this deck can do hurts its potential in the OCG, especially in an environment where Maxx C is guaranteed.

I've used Lab with Traptrix before, but I like the fact that Raika can give the deck more of a chance of playing through boards compared to other Traptrix builds.

@@YGOrganizationQuincymccoy I feel that. I been playing around with the Raika to help with deck recursion and I only throw in like one or two Lady Lab as a trap searcher. I prefer not to clutter it with traps or Lab so it's not a trap heavy deck but more so has combo potential. Raika helps improve turn two as well.

@@YGOrganizationQuincymccoy Man, Evil Hero is such a weird mess from being tied to heroes in a very tacked on way. It literally goes from warriors and fiends to a sudden Rock typing cause anime card. It was so close to being great and broken if it simply didn’t focus on the Hero cards so much since all of its extra deck monsters are fiends that cannot even work with the fusion cards in the hero archetype. The elemental heroes are necessary bricks in modern evil heroes, cause if the rock gets negated, the fusion that extends is inaccessible and so is the fusion that simply snatch steals monsters.

Pendulumgraph is a fun card, but I don't think it's as strong as the Voiceless rituals, especially now that neo-Saffira exists. You're right that it isn't bricky, it just wouldn't do enough in my opinion. As far as consistency, that is the allure of Voiceless - it is a hyper consistent ritual deck. And since its combo naturally flows into the Apodrakosis stuff, it's not that crazy of a stretch. That said, I'd suggest checking out a few other builds along these lines that others have made to compare the differences, if you aren't fully comfortable building it yourself from scratch

​​@@YGOrganizationQuincymccoy I certainly will and thanks for the tips but wouldn't you run pendulum graph over the new saffira because it's a spell negate? if you get blessings you can ritual summon it on your opponent's turn for a summon. I also like to run regular saffira for fun, but also because on the first turn I can make the opponent discard. I guess I can do what I want, it's not that deep, just was curious is all. I'll definitely see what fits me best. Edit: Oh wait, I just realized Varudras does what pendulumgraph does, I guess I don't have to worry.

Hi there! Glad you enjoyed it, and Mikanko is definitely a fun engine as well, but I'd worry that it would conflict with the hand restriction of Morganite. As for Primoredial, I think this may be the one deck that uses a Normal Monster that it doesn't work with. The Primoredial QuickPlay only Special Summons from the hand/deck, meaning it removes a Venus summon from the deck. Then while their continuous Spell summons from Deck or GY, it then locks you outta mon effects. Plus, if you're ending any agent combo with a Shine Ball left on the field, you're definitely missing out on some better extra deck play. Lastly, their dragon conflicts with Morganite, which I'm increasingly convinced is the best way to play Agent now. Love the thoughts tho, that's just my 2 cents when thinking about them 😀

Sorry for the confusion, I didn't mean the actual "Mikanko" monsters, I meant Majesty Hyperion's secondary effect that makes the fairies you control (while also controlling sanctuary in the sky) redirect the battle damage you take to your opponent (similarly to how Mikankos work). And with the new morganite you can deal double damage. So basically if you crash a 500 ATK shine ball into a 2500 atk monster, your opponent will take 4000 damage while you don't take any yourself. I love that effect because I use it as a secondary win condition against decks that put out big Towers-like monsters that have high ATK. About Primoredial, I'm currently testing it but I'm using only the monster and the continuous Spell. I use the continuous spell effect as my last effect for the turn (because of the lock) to special summon a shine ball from the GY to use as tribute for Imperial dragon during my opponent's turn. That's all. It's not amazing though, so I think you're right that Morganites are better. Must test further ;)

Ahhh, i see your point now. I actually used to use a Mikanko engine with Agent, as you can tutor oohime with Herald of the Arc Light made with Earth + Shineball. But that's neither here nor there, that interaction is very cool with new Morganite. Ahh, I understand. Yeah, I think the Morganite engine might be slightly better, but not by much.

I'll definitely be looking into it. I wanted to do a more straightforward version first, since the theme only was just revealed. But I have a few cool ideas already.

@brandonvice4234 But it actually does - Any Voiceless search for a LIGHT Dragon Ritual (Saffira or Skull Guard) goes into their Ritual, Apodrakosis. That's the whole point of combining the two...

Skull guardian gets the ritual pendulum dragon which basically nets you the whole engine.

@@JusticeHeroXSupreme It is if you have a good way to get it from hand to GY, if for no other reason than the field spell is so important. But idk if that's necessary in here, given how many avenues there are to it

A couple reasons: First, I've had this CDP sitting in editing purgatory for a few weeks, but figured it was better to just release it rather than scrap it once I got around to doing my batch of editing for August profiles. But more importantly, I'm really hoping that the rest of the new cards gives BEWD a different playstyle to highlight. The first batch just made the old way more consistent, without giving it anything really 'new'. If that doesn't work out for the second half of the new support, then my backup hopes and dreams are that the new cards allow for BEWD to synergize with something else. Also, just because I released this profile now doesn't mean I won't do another in the future. There's plenty of examples of when I cover the same theme in close succession, but that also gives me more time to ingest feedback from folks about the initial build when taking another stab at them.

Of course! I'm still workshopping the right build, but it's definitely on my list. There's a lot of cool new decks that came out lately I have to get through
