Good video! Here are my demographics: 1) Autistic; 2) Learning disabilities; 3) White; 4) Male; 5) Heterosexual; 6) Cissexual. I was essentially illiterate until 23 years-old. So, how can a social justice expert sort out my criteria for education? I'm a white male, so I must be demoted. But, I have disabilities, to I must be promoted. The social justice paradigm is deficient and defective. At this point, I'm a retired software engineer with an MS is computer science. What I see is academia has walked away from educating and qualifying people to make substantive contributions. Instead, contemporary academia focuses on social engineering. Academia has lost sight of the fundamentals of education.

You are on the right track, but you are better supporting alternatives to conventional academia. Conventional academia is encourageably focused on doing correcting wrongs and making students suffer the academically probematized history of others -- others who are long gone. As an autistic white male (68 years-old), my life experience tells me anyone who wears an academically imposed stain, such as a white male, is at an automatic disadvantage. For an autistic white male, academic activism can combine with the marginalization of autism to push a child entirely away. Academia has turned out to be a highly problematic paradigm, which is attractive to the wrong kind of people. We need alternatives that entirely circumvent traditional academia, the high school diploma, and the college degree. There must be something to show qualification and that can be an industry certification.
