You guys are amazing! I have researched water leak detection equipment for a while now and this is certainly my top choice! Should I get the Local 400 or the aqua M300? We have been finding cold water leaks for about a year now with the gen ear by injecting compressed air into the lines. We haven't used tracer gas yet. Thanks for the vid's
Of course, we would recommend working with both devices. Our LOKAL 400 with its functions as correlator and geophone is very well suited for pre-locating leaks, while the Aqua M300 can be used both as a geophone and for tracer gas detection and is therefore more suitable for pinpointing. So it's not necessarily a choice between the devices, but rather a complement of many different options.

hmm, that is actually pretty clever Does it work better than using a ground microphone, like for example the Aqua M-300?
Yes, with the PipeMic you are absolutely sure that you are on the spot of the leakage. The additional tip-location function (in conjunction with a cable/pipe locator) has a 100% success rate. Only the insertion of the system sometimes becomes a little bit tricky. But once inside the pipe and you are able to push the head towards the leak there is no room for interpretation.

I bought M300 2017 and have not used H2 but tried a couple of times. I warms up fine but turns off within a minute or 2 after that. How can I fix it to stay operating? there is nvery little help in instruction manuel.
There is an automatic shut off function in the M300 if the device is unused for some time. You can disable or increase the time in the settings.
Would you consider selling it - if you do not use it?
